This research was accomplished in order to examine the invention textbooks’ effect. In order to achieve the goal of research we did a literature investigation and got a specialist review. We accomplished qualitative research through analyzing the questionnaire and the photos, works in order to examine the effect of it. We collected a quantitative data of Likert degree and qualitative data of the questionnaire which included an open type question. The methods of this research was called Mixed-Model Design. The result of research with after is same. First, the studying satisfaction of elementary, middle and high school students about 'Invention Textbooks' was above of usual(3). 12 items of studying the satisfaction was high whole. Second, about 'Invention Textbooks' the multiple students are beneficial. And they suggested the part which is interesting, difficult part, the fact was changed with each elementary, middle and high school. Third, we searched its effect though episodic method and analyzing. As a result there was changing in creativity of the students and application of thinking ability about problem solving. We confirmed positive changing of attitude, interest, confidence and studying satisfaction in a affective factor.

이 연구는 발명 교과서 개발에 따른 그 효과를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌고찰 및 전문가 검토를 통해 개발한 표준 교과서의 효과를 알아보기 위해 설문지, 사진 및 작품자료 등을 통한 질적 실험 연구를 하였다. 연구의 설계는 Likert척에 의한 양적자료 수집과 개방형 질문을 함께 포함하여 질적 자료를 수집하여 혼합모형설계(mixed-model design)를 하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘발명 교과서’에 대한 학교 급별 학습만족도는 초·중·고등학교 학생들 모두 12개 항목에 대하여 ‘보통(3)’보다 높은 평균값을 보여 전체적으로 학습내용에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 둘째, ‘발명 교과서’에 대하여 다수의 학생들이 ‘발명 교과서’가 유익하다고 응답하였고，흥미 있는 부분, 어려운 부분, 바뀌었으면 하는 것들을 학교 급별로 각각 제시하였다. 셋째, 일화적 관찰방법과 작품 및 활동 사진자료를 통하여 ‘발명 교과서’의 수업 적용 효과를 탐색한 결과 학생들의 창의력, 문제해결력 등의 사고 능력의 활용에 변화가 있었다. 그리고 학생들의 기술, 학습활동, 교과서 등에 대한 태도, 흥미, 자신감, 학습만족도 등의 정의적 요인에 있어서도 긍정적인 변화를 확인할 수 있었다.
