메타버스 플랫폼의 교육적 영향에 대한 연구 : 교수와 학생들의 경험에 관한 질적 연구

This research evaluates the implementation of a metaverse platform in Ecuadorian higher education. Through qualitative focus group interviews with students and professors, the research emphasizes the advantages of the platform for creating interactive learning environments while identifying key challenges, such as technical limitations and content integration needs. Results indicate that while the platform fosters engagement, its effects on learning retention and academic performance remain mixed. The study offers insights into region-specific strategies for adopting educational technology and recommendations for future implementation.

본 연구는 메타버스 플랫폼의 교육적 활용 가능성을 심층적으로 평가하기 위해 진행되었다. 학생과 교수들을 대상으로 질적 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 수행하여, 상호작용적 학습 환경 조성 측면에서 플랫폼의 잠재적 장점을 확인하는 한편, 기술적 제약과 콘텐츠 통합 필요성도 연구 했다. 연구 결과, 메타버스 플랫폼은 학습 참여를 촉진하는 데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 학습 유지력 및 학업 성과에 미치는 영향은 일관되지 않은 양상을 보였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구는 지역 특화 교육 기술의 도입 전략을 제안하며, 향후 효과적인 적용을 위한 구체적인 방향성을 제시한다.
