This study aimed to investigate the effects of fairness, self-direction, language communication, economic level, and national discrimination perceived by international students while studying abroad in Korea on their satisfaction. The subjects of the study were a total of 312 international students at S University in the Gyeonggi-do area, who were surveyed and analyzed. As a result, fairness, self-direction, and verbal communication were found to have a positive effect, but economic level and national discrimination did not appear to have a significant effect. The implications of this study are that professors should treat foreign students as fairly as Korean students, provide an environment where self-directed learning is possible, and focus on solving language communication problems to improve the satisfaction of foreign students.

본 연구는 외국인 유학생들이 한국에서 유학생활 중 인식한 공정성, 자기주도성, 언어소통, 경제적 수준, 국가 차별이 유학생 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 충청도 권 S대학 외국인 유학생 총 312명을 대상으로 설문하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 공정성, 자기주도성, 언 어소통은 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 경제적 수준과 국가 차별은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 교수가 외국인 유학생에게 한국학생들과 같이 공정하게 대하고 자기주도학습이 가능한 환경을 제공하고 언어소통 문제를 중점적으로 해결하여 외국 인 유학생의 만족도를 제고시켜야 한다.
