The purpose of this study was to test whether the mediating effects of social support and self-regulation ability were significant in the relationship between daily stress and psychological well-being in elementary school students. For this purpose, data were collected from 5th and 6th grade students at three elementary schools in Incheon Metropolitan City, analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical programs, and mediation effects were confirmed through bootstrap verification. Results of this study First, daily stress has a significant negative correlation with social support, self-regulation ability, and psychological well-being, and there is a positive correlation between social support. Second, social support and self-regulation ability each play a mediating role in the relationship between elementary school students’ daily stress and psychological well-being. Third, self-regulation ability through social support appears to play a double mediating role in the relationship between elementary school students’ daily stress and psychological well-being.

본 연구에서는 초등학생이 지각한 일상스트레스와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 자기조절능력의 매개효과가 유의미한지를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 인천광역시 소재 3개 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생을 대상으로 임의표집한 511명의 자료를 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고 Bootstrap검증을 통해 매개효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구 의 결과 첫째, 초등학생이 지각한 일상스트레스는 사회적 지지, 자기조절능력, 심리적 안녕감 과 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 있으며 사회적 지지, 자기조절능력, 심리적 안녕감 간에는 정 적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 초등학생의 일상스트레스와 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 사회 적 지지와 자기조절능력이 각각 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학교 학생의 일상 스트레스와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지를 통한 자기조절능력은 이중매개역 할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
