This report outlines the development of a screening tool called the Korean Version of Emotional Behavior Adaptation Diagnostic Test for Children and Adolescents(K-EBA). K-EBA was constructed based POIST with reference to MMPI-A and PAI-A along with 4 other related tests. The scales affecting juvenile delinquency were explored and analyzed from the previous tools to develop suitable measurement for K-EBA’s purpose. As a result, including clinical factors(ex. depression, anxiety, and etc.), new scales that measure illegal behavior, substance abuse, smartphone and computer-related delinquency, cyber crime, morality, and academic status were added. The purpose of this paper is to review K-EBA’s ability in screening and evaluating adolescents’ problematic behaivours that may lead to future delinquency and crime. In addition, it provides information supply for the justice program or government in developing necessary support programs, education, institutional legal policy in this matter.

본 연구는 청소년비행을 예측하기 위해 아동-청소년의 정서 및 행동 그리고 적응을 측정하는 검사도구로 개발되었다. K-EBA는 MMPI-A나 PAI-A를 포함하여 총 7개의 관련 검사들 을 참고하여 개발되었다. 요즘 아동-청소년들의 문제행동의 다 양성과 심각성으로 촉법소년의 연령이 낮아지는 추세에 본 연구 에서는 청소년비행에 영향을 미치는 관련 요인들에 대한 선행연 구와 검사도구들을 검토하였다. 그리하여 최종적으로 임상적 요 인(우울, 불안 등)을 포함해 새로운 척도(불법적인 행동 및 물질 남용, 스마트폰과 컴퓨터 관련, 도덕성, 사이버비행 혹은 범죄, 학업상태 등)를 추가적으로 탐색하여 분석하였다. 본 논문의 목 적은 K-EBA가 향후 청소년의 문제행동의 잠재적인 부분을 평 가하여 사전 예방(screening)과 신속한 대응을 할 수 있을 지를 검토하였다. 또한, 이 연구결과로 인해 필요한 지원과 프로그램 또는 제도설계방안 및 정책적 대안들을 고려해 볼 수 있는 정보 공급 목적도 포함되어 있다.
