This study explores the qualitative development of both the class and the teacher through an earnest and candid reflection journal recording the teacher's concerns about the progress of the class, the factors regarding the class's success and failure, and the responses of the students. While reviewing the overall progress of the class, the quality of the teaching-learning process was improved by encouraging criticism of the class and a reflective way of thinking. Also, this study examined the satisfaction of learners with the class operation process and tried to improve the standard of the class. The author also found that there was a slight difference in the learners' satisfaction levels by comparing both the processes of accepting and applying learners' needs. It became important to review the changing process of learning and approach the class from different angles. Teachers influence the learning process and a learner's growth through education. If a teacher does not reflect on the lesson, then they will repeatedly make mistakes. For this reason, it is necessary to reflect on the curriculum with extensive research. Therefore, to improve the quality of teaching activities and strengthen the professionalism of the instructors, not only the new teachers but also the experienced teachers should write class reflection journals. This will help them to look back and reflect on their educational behavior in class, and use that for self-development.

본 연구는 학문 목적 학습자를 대상으로 한 교양 필수과목의 수업 운영 과 정에서 느낀 교사의 수업 진행에 대한 고민, 수업의 성공과 실패요소 및 학 습자들의 반응에 대해 진솔하고 솔직하게 기록한 성찰일지를 통하여 수업 및 교사의 질적인 성장을 모색하고자 하는 취지에서 진행되었다. 수업 운영 과정에서 느낀 수업 진행에 대해 전반적으로 살피는 과정에서 수업에 대한 비판, 반성적 사고방식을 유지함으로써 수업의 질적 향상에 노력하게 되었다. 그리고 이러한 수업 운영 과정에 대한 학습자의 만족도 를 조사하여 더 나아진 수업 능력의 향상을 위해 노력해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구자는 성찰일지를 작성하면서 학습자들의 요구를 받아들이고 적 용하는 과정에서 학습자의 만족도에 조금씩 차이가 있다는 것을 확인하 였고 학습자의 변화 과정을 살펴 본인의 수업에 대해 다각도로 고민할 수 있는 의미있는 시간이었다. 교사는 교육을 통해 학습자의 학습과정과 성장에 영향을 준다. 교사가 수업에 대한 반성적 사고를 하지 않으면 수업에서의 실수를 지속적으로 반복하기 때문에 모든 교육과정에 대한 끊임없는 연구와 성찰로 수업과 정에 대해 반성적 사고를 가지고 있어야 한다. 그렇기 때문에 초보 교사 뿐만 아니라 현장 경력이 많은 교사들도 교수활동의 질적 향상과 교수자 의 전문성 강화를 위해 수업 성찰일지를 작성하고 이를 통해 수업에 대 한 자신의 교육 행위를 돌아보고 성찰하여 자기발전의 과정으로 활용해 야 할 것이다.
