The purpose of this study was to investigate variables that can predict the level of lifelong learning competency of elementary school teachers. In this study, a total of 1,138 elementary school teachers were surveyed at 70 elementary schools in Seoul and the final 1070 teachers were collected. Ordered logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the collected data. The results of the study are as follows: First, among the background variables, predictors of lifelong learning competency were teaching career and lifelong learning experience. Second, self-awareness, growth orientation, and thinking flexibility of learning agility, intrinsic motivation of learning motivation, and optimism of positive psychological capital were significant predictor variables. This study suggests that it is necessary to enhance lifelong education by age, the expansion of diverse interests and experiences from the community and the environment, and a positive and free school organization culture in order to strengthen lifelong learning competency of elementary school teachers.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사의 평생학습역량 수준을 예측할 수 있는 변인을 규명 하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 서울시 소재 70개교의 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 1,070명의 자료를 수집하여 분석에 이용하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해서 순서로지스틱 회귀분 석을 이용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 배경 변인 중 평생학습역량 수준을 예 측하는 변인은 교직경력과 평생학습경험 등이었다. 둘째, 학습민첩성의 하위변인 중 자 기인식, 성장지향성, 사고유연성, 성찰추구, 학습동기 하위변인 중 내적동기, 긍정심리자 본의 하위변인 중 낙관성이 유의미한 예측변인이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 초등교사의 평 생학습역량 강화를 위해서 연령에 따른 생애주기별 연수의 확대와 지역사회 및 주변으 로부터의 다양한 관심과 경험의 확대, 긍정적이며 자유로운 학교 조직문화를 위한 학교 관리자 및 경력 교사들의 마인드 제고가 필요함을 시사한다.
