The study was to suggest medical tourist policy of Busan by Russian medical tourists visiting the city for the medical treatment. The finding suggested that ‘assurance’, ‘empathy’, ‘tangibles’, and ‘reliability’-- the elements of medical tourism destination-- have significant positive effects on customer satisfaction, whereas ‘responsiveness’ has no effects on the degree of customer satisfaction. The findings of the study have the following implications for marketers. The study, identifying the medical tourism service provided for the subjects of the study and the types of their treatment, would be conducive to attracting Russian patients and promoting marketing activities, laying foundations for further empirical studies. Secondly, the study analyzes the effects of Russian patients’ medical tourism selection attributes on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, suggesting ways in which medical institutions need to improve their services for Russian so they continuously visit Busan as a medical tourism destination.

본 연구는 의료목적으로 부산을 방문하는 러시아관광객을 대상으로 의료서비스품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 의료서비스품질의 선택 요인 중 확신성, 공감성, 유형성, 신뢰성이 고객만족에 긍정의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 개별 요인별 영향을 살펴보면 확신성과 유형성, 신뢰성은 p<0.001, 공감성은 p<0.05 수준으로 만족도에 유의한 영향을 보였다. 반면, 반응성은 p=.148 로 고객만족과 영향관계를 가지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 부산지역병원에 입원한 러시아 환자를 대상으로 실증적 연구가 이루어지지 않은 현 실정에서의료관광의 목적지로 부산을 가장 많이 찾는 러시아 환자를 대상으로 한 연구를 실시하였다는 것에 의의가 있으며, 향후 러시아 의료관광시장에 대한 의료관광정책 수립에기초자료로 활용할 것으로 사료된다.
