Implications of cultural diversity consideration in instructional lesson plan has been studied in this article. Purpose of this study is to make a foundation for developing instructional lesson planning in the view point of cultural diversity education. In order to get my purpose of this study, firstly, needs of cultural diversity consideration in instructional lesson plan were proposed. Secondly, implications of cultural diversity consideration in instructional lesson plan were discussed. Thirdly, teachers, learners, curriculum, and education environment as variables for cultural diversity consideration in instructional lesson plan were reviewed. Fourthly, direction of instructional lesson plan with cultural diversity consideration was introduced. I think that cultural diversity consideration in instructional lesson plan means reflection for cultural characteristics of individual, group members, citizen of nation, and global citizen as existence of cultural life in order to realize equality education for all of students. How do we train for teachers to make instructional lesson planning in the view point of cultural diversity education? To respond this question, it’s important to put cultural diversity education into curriculum of teachers colleges.

이 연구는 한국 사회의 문화적 다양화에 대한 학교 교육 측면에서 대응 방안으로 ‘수업 설계’에서 ‘문화적 다양성’을 고려한다는 것이 어떤 의미를 갖는지에 대하여 수업의 주요 요인을 중심으로 정리하고 이를 바탕으로 ‘문화적 다양성을 고려하는 수업 방법 모색’을 위한 기초를 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 결론 적으로 수업 설계에서 문화적 다양성을 고려한다는 것은, ‘교사의 교수-학습 계획에서 실질적인 공정성에 바탕을 둔 평등교육 실현과 이를 위한 문화생활 주체(개인, 집단 구성원, 국가·세계 시민)로서 학습자와 교사자신의 다양한 특성, 교육과정, 교육 환경 등을 고려하는 교육을 실행하기 위한 계획’을 의미한다고 할 수 있다. 어떻게 하면 문화적 다양성을 고려하여 수업 설계를 할 수 있는 교사를 양성할 수 있을까? 이 질문에 대한 대답은 일차적으로 그러한 교사를 양성하는 교사 양성 대학 및 연수 기관의 교육과정에 문화 적 다양성 교육을 적용하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 위한 관련 기관의 실행 노력이 요청된다.
