This Study focuses on specialized high school which was established for educational reformation scheme for establishment of new educational system announced by the Committee on Educational Reformation in February 1996. Specialized high school is an outstanding school that not only enables student to lead in the era of global informationization and pursue active study through diversified and specialized education for each area but also focuses on improvement of ability and competence of each individual by providing specialized education in specific area with students with similar characteristics and aptitude as subjects. The outcome of the Study revealed that specialized high school provides educational service that has been differentiated through operation of custom-made curriculum centered-around students, outstanding specialized educational curriculum and excellent educational welfare services. Accordingly, students displayed high level of satisfaction on the school and higher level of affection for the school in comparison to other vocational high schools.

오늘날 특성화 고등학교 교육 역량을 강화하고 국가의 미래 비젼(Vision)을 높이기 위해 기초적인 교육 연구 활동을 강화하며 교육의 질적 개선을 위해 많은 노력을 경주하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 1996년 2월 교육개혁위원회에서 발표한 신교육 체계 수립을 위한 교육개혁방안에서 제시되어 설립된 특성화 고등학교를 중심으로 연구했다. 특성화고등학교는 다양하고, 전문적인 분야별 교육을 통해 세계정보화 시대를 선도하고 능동적인 교육 서비스를 제공하며 소질과 적성이 유사한 학생을 대상으로 특정분야의 전문적인 교육을 습득 개개인의 실력향상에 중점을 두고 설립된 학교로 교육 서비스 기간이 짧다. 연구에서는 특성화 고등학교의 교육 서비스를 중심으로 연구를 했으며 연구결과 특성화고등학교는 전문화된 교과운영 및 맞춤 교육을 학생에게 제공하고 차별화된 교육서비스를 제공 교육 참여자에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 교육 서비스는 학교 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며 학교 만족은 특성화 고등학교 재학생의 애교심에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면 교과운영은 애교심에 0.29, 학교만족에 0.28, 맞춤교육은 애교심에 0.26, 학교만족에 0.23, 학교복지는 애교심에 0.13, 학교만족에 0.59, 학교만족은 애교심에 0.11의 유의미한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다.
