If we designate the school as one learning community, it may serve as a solution to the current school problems. Since the main part of school life is learning in the class community, maximizing community spirit through class education in necessary.
The purpose of this research is to search for application possibilities of Inquiry Community.
To fulfill this purpose, we have looked at the definition and components of community awareness, community, and community spirit as a theoretical basis. We also looked at the relationship between ethics education and community spirit. After this, we have looked at increasing ethics in learning communities and also examined the possibilities of maximizing community spirit through learning community activities.
The purpose of this research is to search for application possibilities of Inquiry Community. I will leave the reality of a class maximizing community spirit, in which the learning community model is applied to a later research.

학교를 하나의 학습공동체라고 상정할 경우, 학생들의 공동체의식의 함양은 삭막해져 가는 학교 현실의 많은 부분에 대한 해결책이 될 수 있으며, 학교생활의 대부분은 학급 공동체에서의 교수학습 활동이 주가 되므로 교실수업을 통한 공동체의식의 함양이 필요하다.
본 논문의 목적은 탐구공동체 활동 모형을 공동체 의식 함양을 위한 도덕과 교육에 적용하기 위해 그 가능성을 탐색하는데 있다.
이러한 목적에 충실하기 위해 우선 공동체 의식의 이론적 기초로서의 공동체 주의, 공동체, 공동체 의식의 개념과 구성요소를 살펴보고, 도덕과 교육과 공동체 의식의 상관관계를 고찰해 보았다. 그런 다음 탐구공동체 활동의 도덕교육적 함의를 살펴본 다음 탐구공동체 활동을 통한 공동체 의식 함양 가능성에 대해 탐색해 보았다.
본 논문은 공동체 의식 함양을 위해 탐구공동체 활동의 적용가능성을 탐색하는데 까지 이다. 탐구공동체 활동 모형을 적용한 공동체 의식 함양 수업의 실제는 차기 연구과제로 남겨두고자 한다.
