The purpose of this study is to provide the basic information about the establishment direction of facility standard of youth center. The method of this study was progressed to the survey about 123 youths, real users, in Daegu. The main analysis contents were the use characteristics of space, the youth's opinions, and the satisfaction. The result of this study are as fallows. First, the facility standard of youth center have to be consider the characters of various ages of youth. Second, the facility standard of outdoor space planning need to consider the satisfaction of the location and accessibility of youth center. Third, the space of the part of culture have to be planed for the youth's free activity and leisure. Forth, the rest space need the interesting, the feeling of closeness, and the variation. Fifth, we confirmed the need of space planning to increase of youth's interest

본 연구는 청소년의 이용특성을 반영한 청소년수련관 시설기준정립방향 모색에 대한 기초연구로서, 청소년수련관을 실제 이용하고 있는 청소년을 대상으로 공간이용특성, 의견, 만족도를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 토대로, 실제 사용자의 이용특성을 고려한 공간환경적 개선방안 중심으로 청소년수련관 시설기준 정립방향을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 다양한 연령층의 특성을 고려한 흥미로운 공간환경계획을 위한 시설기준이 모색되어야 한다. 둘째, 청소년수련관에 대한 위치 및 접근성에 대한 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 보행로 및 자전거도로 확보에 대한 외부공간 계획의 시설기준이 요구된다. 셋째, 청소년들의 여가활동을 위해 동아리방이나 댄스연습실과 같은 문화부분 관련 공간에 대하여 자유로운 활동이 보장될 수 있는 시설기준 방향이 요구된다. 넷째, 청소년의 흥미유발과 친근감을 전달할 수 있는 변화감 있는 휴게공간 시설기준 방향 모색이 요구된다. 다섯째, 이용목적에 따른 공간계획도 중요하지만 청소년시설에 대한 흥미유발을 증대시킬 수 있는 공간환경계획이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다
