The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of functional performance tests in return to sports after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. We performed some
tests on 39 male who underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction at our institution(all subjects were tested at minimum of 24 months after reconstruction) such as one-legged
hop test for distance, total functional performance test (Co-contraction test, Carioca test, Shuttle run test), KT-2000 test and isokinetic test by Biodex(System Hill USA). Lysholm knee score, Tegner activity score, and IKDC scores were also investigated. One-legged hop test for distance was compared with unaffected leg, the result of combination of the functional performance tests were compared with that of normal male adults. The results of all tests and scores were compared with that of total functional performance test. The results of total functional performance test of subjects were lower than those of normal male adults and there were significant relationship statistically. The results of one-legged hop test for distance of ACL reconstructed knees were lower than that of unaffected knees. Lysholm knee score, IKDC
score, one-legged hop test for distance and isokinetic test had significant correlation with the total functionl performance tests statistically. Whereas Tegner activity score, KT-2000 test
had no significant correlation. Returning to sports activity after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction may be predicted with the result of total functional performance tests.

본 연구의 목적은 전방십자인대 재건술 후 운동복귀를 판정하는데 있어 기능평가의 의의를 평가하는데 있다. 전방십자인대 재건술을 시행 받은 환자들 중 술 후 24개월 이상 경과한 39명의 남성을 대상으로 외발뛰기 검사(One-legged hop test), 종합 기능적 수행 평가(Co-contraction test, Carioca test, Shuttle run test), KT-2000 검사와 등속성근력검사(ioskinetic)등을 시행하였고, Lysholm knee score, Tegner activity score, IKDC score를 조사하였다. 외발뛰기 검사는 건측과 비교하여 평가하였으며 기능수행 평가는 정상 성인 남성의 기능수행평가와 비교 하였다. 그 외 검사 및 score는 종합기능수행 평가와 비교 하였다. 전방십자인대 재건술을 시행받은 군의 종합 기능적 수행 평가의 결과는 정상 성인군
보다 낮았다. 외발 뛰기 검사의 경우 환측이 건측에 비해 낮았다. 종합기능수행평가와 비교에서는 Lysholm knee score, IKDC score, 외발뛰기 검사와 등속성검사가 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었고, Tegner activity score, KT-2000 검사는 상관관계를 나타내지 않았다. 전방십자인대 재건술 후 종합기능수행평가는 운동 복귀 여부 판단에 대한 신뢰할만한 지표라고 할 수 있다.
