The purposes of this study are to propose the directions of content organizing and instructional strategies of the 'Electricity and Electronics' Unit in Practical Arts Subject of revised 7th national curriculum. The proposed directions to revise textbook are as follows; first, learning materials must be considered in the aspect of technological capabilities that is combined with knowledge, skill and attitude. second, it is needed to combine theory and practice in constructing tasks for activity, third, describing the textbook contents are focused on constructing function-based structure, not skill-based, fourth, theme-based structure to combine contents of various areas can be proposed.

이 연구의 목적은 새로이 개정된 제 7차 교육과정 고시에 따라 실과의 전기 전자 단원의 교과서의 내용 진술을 위한 방안을 탐구하여 안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이 연구에서 제안된 방안으로, 첫째, 내용 진술 시 기술적 능력의 관점이 추가 및 강조될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다. 둘째, 이론과 실습이 각각 분리됨으로써 나타나는 내용과 기능의 이원화를 피하기 위해서 이론과 실습을 통합한 형태의 진술이 필요함을 제안하였다. 셋째, 전기 회로 구성 요소에 강조점을 둔 기능(skills) 중심에서 전체 회로의 역할을 강조한 또 다른 기능(function) 중심의 형태로 진술되어야 함을 제시하였다. 마지막 넷째, 기술의 산업 영역 혹은 기술학의 분류에 근거한 내용 중심에서 영역 간 내용을 통합한 주제 중심으로의 진술 방향을 제안하였다.
