This study tried to graft the social science's “prospect” concept to the Ethics education. For this, a sort of social technology has been used that it predicts long-term changable possibility and overcome the limits of every academic branches. It is needed to prospect ethics education that the penetrating insight and logical reasoning process, which requires informal approach based on the experts' data and estimation. Based on this approach, macroscopic analysis of the basic elements of the ethics education could be investigated as such:
First, the superiority of human being to the scientific technology which is based on the increasing creativity and human value. Second, on the Religion education which is directly connected to the Ethics education, accepted tenets are declined for the secularization and modernization, but the religion or religious subject itself could be more paid attention by the general public. Third, the Liberal democracy ideology could be sustained closely with the progress of economy. Fourth, an endeavor to settle down ethical consideration could be enforced in view of sharing the sense of values with human society and future generation.
With all of these, microscopic application of the elements to the Ethics education in Korea could be as follows: First, the education system could be advanced to strengthen the Ethics education with the phase of the needs of self realization of both individuals and general society. Second, the Citizenship education could be urgent task that fulfills democratic society of living together. Third, the Applied ethics domain could be enlarged, which is practical and approaching toward the actual problems. Fourth, the position of the Ethics education as an Educational philosophy could be uplifted, as it provides the vision to the education itself.

이 논문은 사회과학적 측면에서의 전망에 관한 개념을 윤리교육에 관한 전망에 접목시켜 이해하고자 하는 시도이다. 이를 위하여 장기적 변화 가능성을 과감히 전망하고 여러 분과 과학의 방법상의 전공 한계를 극복하려는 노력을 통하여 새로운 예감을 제공하는 일종의 사회기술로 윤리교육의 전망에 관하여 접근하고자 하였다. 윤리교육의 전망은 내적 통찰과 이성적 추론 과정을 전제한다는 점에서 전문가의 자료와 그 판단에 의거한 비형식적 접근을 필요로 한다. 이러한 접근법을 바탕으로 거시적 측면에서 윤리교육과 관련된 구성 요소들의 위상을 검토하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 창의성과 인간의 가치에 대한 증가를 토대로 인간이 기술에 대해 우위에 설 수 있는 방편이 마련될 것이다. 다음으로, 윤리교육과 연관된 종교에 있어서 기성 종교 그 자체는 세속화와 근대화로 쇠퇴할 것이나 종교와 종교적 주제 자체에 관한 일반인들의 관심은 더욱 증가할 것이다. 이어서, 민주주의 이데올로기는 경제발전과 밀접한 연관성을 지니며 지속성을 유지할 것이다. 또한, 인류 공동체와 미래세대에 관한 가치관의 공유 측면에서 윤리적 고려의 정형화를 위한 노력이 시도될 것이다. 이러한 사항들을 미시적 측면에서 한국 사회의 윤리교육에 적용해 보면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 인간의 자아실현과 사회생활 일반의 요청에 부응하는 측면에서 윤리교육을 강조하는 방향으로 교육제도가 나아가게 될 것이다. 다음으로, 더불어 살아가는 민주사회를 이룩하기 위한 시민성의 교육이 시급한 과제로 제시될 것이다. 이어서, 실천철학의 학문분과이자 문제지향적 윤리학으로서 특성을 지닌 응용윤리학 영역의 교육이 확대될 것이다. 또한, 이는 곧 교육을 바라보는 관점 자체에 관한 접근으로 윤리교육을 이해하며 교육철학으로서 윤리교육의 위상을 제고하도록 하게 될 것이다.
