A development of contents for globalising cultural product design using Korean image : The artist book using Korean ornamental pouch and the embroidered pattern

This study is a developmental research for designing an artist book, which shows the development of Korean embroidered patterns into cultural contents. Nowadays, Korean embroidered pattern is broadly utilized by many modern designers, as a highly inspirational motive for a brand design that globalises Korean traditional image textile, fashion and accessories. Therefore, Korean embroidered pattern is considered to be one of the Korean cultural contents that we must preserve and develop.

본 연구는 한국자수문양을 활용한 주머니형태의 아티스트 북 개발연구로서 한국 고유의 독특한 이미지로 근래 들어 디자인개발의 모티브로 많이 사용되고 있는 한국자수문양을 문화상품으로 디자인했다. 현대디자이너들에게 다양한 분야에서 한국적 이미지를 글로벌화한 브랜드디자인의 모티브로 활용되고 있는 한국자수문양은 우리가 보존하고 개발해야 할 한국 문화콘텐츠의 하나로서 본 논문은 다음의 연구를 포함한다.
