This study proposes instructional strategies for implementing ecological transition education in the Agriculture and Life Science domain of elementary Practical Arts based on the 2022 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum. A review of prior research and an analysis of the national curriculum, the Practical Arts curriculum, and the MiraeN authorized textbook were conducted. The results show that the achievement standards of Practical Arts strongly align with the core values of ecological transition education, particularly standards [6실04-07–11]. Based on these findings, the Grade 5 unit “Life and Plants/Animals” and the Grade 6 unit “Sustainable Agriculture” were reorganized into a coherent program to foster students’ ecological perspective shift, focusing on “transforming relationships” in Grade 5 and “transforming ways of living” in Grade 6. An expert validity review yielded a mean score of 4.57/5, indicating high validity. This study contributes by expanding the feasibility of ecological transition education in elementary Practical Arts through concrete agriculture-based lesson strategies.

이 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 실과 교육과정을 바탕으로 초등 실과 교과의 농업생명과학 영역에서 생태전환교육을 구현할 수 있는 수업 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 생태전환교육의 개념과 생 태소양에 관한 선행연구를 살펴보고, 2022 개정 교육과정 총론과 실과 교육과정, 미래엔 출판사의 실 과 검정 교과서를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 2022 개정 실과 교과의 성취기준은 다른 교과와 비교하였을 때 생태전환교육의 핵심 가치를 충실히 반영하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 실과 내 농업생명과학 영역 은 [6실04-07~11]의 성취기준에서 생태전환교육 학습요소와 밀접한 연관성이 있음을 확인하였다. 5학 년 ‘생활과 동식물’ 단원과 6학년 ‘지속가능한 농업’ 단원의 학습을 생태전환을 위한 지속가능한 연계 교육 프로그램으로 재구성하여 학습자의 생태적 인식 전환을 유도하고자 하였다. 5학년 프로그램에서 는 ‘관계의 전환’에 초점을 맞추었고, 6학년 프로그램은 ‘삶의 방식 전환’에 초점을 맞추어 수업을 설계 하였다. 개발된 생태전환교육 프로그램 수업안에 대한 평가를 위해 전문가 타당도 검증을 진행하였으 며, 평균 4.57점(Likert 척도)로 나타나 전반적으로 높은 타당성을 확보하고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 기 존의 인간 중심적 분류 방식에서 벗어나 생태계 내 구성원으로 동 ‧ 식물을 인식하도록 유도한다는 점 에서 교육적 의의가 크다는 평가를 받았다. 본 연구는 농업 활동을 중심으로 생태전환교육을 실과 수 업에 적용할 수 있는 구체적인 수업 방안을 제시함으로써, 초등 실과 교과에서 생태전환교육 실천 가 능성을 확장하는 데 의의가 있다.
