The purpose of this study is to examine the collective representations of Koreans as depicted in religious cultural content that achieved popular success within the context of the post-religious situation of the 2010s. As a theoretical foundation, we will first examine Durkheim’s ideas, focusing on the relationship between the individual and society, social facts, and collective representation. Next, we will examine the transformed Korean religious and cultural elements featured in the webtoon and the film , which was produced based on this original work. Furthermore, based on a survey on religion conducted by Gallup Korea, we aim to infer that Koreans’ collective representation of life and death is rooted in shamanism. In this way, we aim to confirm that the shamanistic collective representation is transformed and appears in the webtoon and the movie .

본 연구의 목적은 2010년대 탈종교가 본격화되던 상황 속에서 대중 적으로 흥행을 한 종교문화콘텐츠에 나타난 한국인의 집합표상을 고찰 하는데 있다. 이를 위한 이론적 토대로 먼저 뒤르케임의 사상을 개인 과 사회의 관계, 사회적 사실, 그리고 집합표상을 중심으로 살펴보도 록 한다. 이어서 웹툰 <신과함께: 저승편>과 이 웹툰을 바탕으로 제작 된 영화 <신과함께: 죄와 벌>에서 변용된 종교문화콘텐츠를 찾아 볼 것이다. 나아가 한국갤럽에서 실시한 종교에 관한 설문조사를 근거로 삶과 죽음에 대한 한국인의 집합표상이 무교에 근거하고 있음을 추론 해 보고자 한다. 이로써 무교적 집합표상이 웹툰 <신과함께: 저승편> 과 영화 <신과함께: 죄와 벌>에서 변용되어 나타나고 있음을 확인하고자 한다.
