This paper aims to theoretically concretize literary communication and develop strategies for prospective Korean language teachers to understand the context of the author. The topic of this paper stems from the confusion among prospective Korean language teachers regarding the differences between literature and reading instruction. The findings suggest that, as understanding and interpreting literary texts in Korean language classes is achieved through experience, a more nuanced discussion of this topic is needed. This paper traces the root cause of this discrepancy within the context of the author and highlights the importance of the empathic stage for literary experience when utilizing literary texts for prospective Korean language teachers. A review of the measurement of literary text comprehension among prospective Korean language teachers revealed the need for increased training in literary imagination and literary experiential communication. Literary experience is a necessary and sufficient condition for understanding literary texts. For Korean language classes utilizing literary texts, the role of teachers in guiding literary experiences from the perspective of the author’s context should be emphasized.

이 글은 문학 소통을 이론적으로 구체화하고 국어과 예비 교사를 위한 작가 맥락 이해 방안을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 이 논문의 주제는 실제 국어과 예비 교사들이 문학 수업과 읽기 수업의 차이점을 혼동하는 데에 서 착안하였다. 살펴본 결과, 국어과에서 문학 텍스트는 체험을 통해서 이해와 해석에 다다르므로 그 부분이 지금보다 정교하게 논의될 필요가 있었다. 이 글은 작가 맥락 차원에서 그 원인을 추적하고, 앞으로 국어과 예비 교사의 문학 텍스트 활용할 때 문학 체험을 위한 감정이입 단계가 중요함을 밝혔다. 국어과 예비 교사들을 대상으로 문학 텍스트 이해 측정 내용을 검토한 결과, 국어과 예비 교사 대상 문학 상상력이나 문학 체험 거래에 대한 훈련을 늘릴 필요가 있었다. 문학 체험은 문학 텍스트 이해 를 위한 필요 충분 조건이다. 문학 텍스트를 활용한 국어 수업을 위해서 는 작가 맥락 관점에서 문학 체험을 안내하는 교사의 역할이 강조되어야 할 것이다.
