The study aims to examine the web-based archival information service provided by the Offices of Education, focusing on its current state and proposing improvement strategies. While the Offices of Education have built a foundation for archival information services through their website, key user groups, such as students, parents, and teachers, remain largely unaware of these services. An analysis of the Offices of Education’s records and archives management system, service types, and web services was conducted alongside interviews with seven professional archivists to assess operational challenges. Based on the study’s findings, proposed measures include enhancing search tools and usability, developing a user-friendly guide, securing resources, conducting systematic records collection activities, understanding user behavior, and diversifying content. Through these efforts, it is expected that tailored web services will be created to better support local education and address the practical needs of diverse users.

본 연구의 목적은 교육청 기록관이 수행하는 웹 기록정보서비스의 현황을 살펴보고 이에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 교육청은 기록정보서비스 기반을 마련해 오고 있으며 웹사이트를 통해 이를 제공해 왔으나, 정작 학생·학부모·교사들은 이를 잘 알지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교육청의 기록정보 웹서비스를 활성화하기 위해, 교육청 기록관리의 체계와 기록정보서비스 범주를 살피고 교육청 기록관에서 제공하는 웹서비스의 전체 영역을 기록정보서비스 유형별로 분석하였다. 이와 더불어, 교육청에서 근무하는 기록연 구사 7인을 대상으로 면담을 수행하여 서비스 실태와 각종 현안을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 개선방안은 검색도구 및 서비스 보완, 웹사이트 가이드의 제작, 충분한 자원의 공급, 체계적인 수집 활동, 웹사이트 이용자 유형 및 성향 파악, 제공콘텐츠의 다양화 모색으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 기록관 단위에서도 가능한 실무적인 웹서비스를 제공하여 기록정보가 효율적이고 다양한 이용자에게 활용될 수 있도록 함으로써, 지역의 교육과 관련된 맞춤형 기록정보 웹서비스가 개발될 수 있을 것이다.
