This study analyzed previous studies and examples of the operation of leading schools in artificial intelligence education in order to suggest a plan to organize an elementary school-level information curriculum suitable for the 2022 revised curriculum. First, while major overseas countries have secured an average of 300 hours of information education hours, Korea is currently required 51 hours, and even if the 2022 revised curriculum is applied, it is only 102 hours. Second, looking at the regular curriculum organization of the leading elementary school-level artificial intelligence education schools in Seoul, on average, 37.3, 30.3, 18.8, 165, 14.7, and 14.7 classes were allocated from 6th to 1st graders, and a total of 132 classes were operated. Third, according to the results and suggestions of the operation of the leading school, the satisfaction of the members was high, but they felt difficulty in operation due to the absence of a national curriculum, absolute lack of time, and insufficient teacher competency. Therefore, through an expert review of the minimum time and operation method model (proposal) for the organization of the regular curriculum, I would like to propose a plan for organizing the information curriculum as follows. First, for stable operation, it is reasonable to have at least 68 classes per grade group once a week. Second, it is effective to establish an optional subject using school autonomous time for systematic operation. Third, it is recommended to organize the number of events using creative experience activities and subjects (counties), and to organize and operate a convergence curriculum that utilizes the characteristics of each grade and class. Fourth, information education clubs can be operated during creative experience activities or after-school hours for students in need of in-depth education.

본 연구는 2022개정 교육과정에 적합한 초등학교급 정보 교육과정 편성 방안을 제시하고자 선행 연구와 인공 지능교육 선도학교 운영 사례를 분석하였다. 첫째, 해외 주요국은 평균 300시간의 정보교육 시수를 확보한 반면 한국은 현재 필수 51시간이며 2022개정 교육과정이 적용되더라도 필수 102시간에 불과하다. 둘째, 서울시 소재 초등학교급 인공지능교육 선도학교의 정규 교육과정 편성 현황을 살펴보면 평균적으로 6학년부터 1학년까지 37.3, 30.3, 18.8, 165, 14.7, 14.7차시를 배정하여 총 132차시 운영하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 선도학교의 운 영결과 및 제언에 따르면 구성원의 만족도는 높으나 국가 수준 교육과정 부재와 시수의 절대적 부족, 부족한 교 원 역량을 이유로 운영의 어려움을 느끼고 있었다. 이에 정규 교육과정 편성을 위한 최소 시수와 운영 방법 모델(안)에 대한 전문가 검토를 통해 다음과 같이 정 보 교육과정 편성 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 안정적 운영을 위해 학년군별 최소 68차시를 확보한 주 1회 수 업이 타당하다. 둘째, 체계적 운영을 위해 학교자율시간을 활용하여 선택 과목을 신설하는 것이 효과적이다. 셋 째, 창의적체험활동과 교과(군)을 활용하여 행사 시수를 편성하고 학년·학급별 특색을 살린 융합 교육과정 편성 및 운영을 권장한다. 넷째, 심화 교육이 필요한 학생을 대상으로 창의적 체험활동이나 방과후 시간에 정보 교육 동아리를 운영할 수 있다.
