This study analyzed the boundary characteristics, placeness, and ecological educational features considering the accessibility of elementary schools and nearby neighborhood parks in Dasa Town in Dalseong County of Daegu Metropolitan City. When analyzing the potential of those boundary zones, this study found out that there exist disconnected boundaries between Dasa Elementary School and Dasa Neighborhood Park and between Daeshil Elementary School and Daeshil Neighborhood Park, while Maegok Elementary School and Maegok Neighborhood Park has a connected boundary. However, since no distinct characteristics were observed at the negotiation boundary, it is necessary to enhance accessibility to the park through the 'Tearing Down the Fence' education policy in the future. When the boundary elements were analyzed, it was found that the physical and visual boundary of Dasa Neighborhood Park was quite distinct, while Maegok Neighborhood Park was characterized by its artificial boundary and visual finishing for better accessibility, and Daeshil Neighborhood Park had an artificial boundary with roads and finishing materials. When analyzing the placeness elements, this study found out that both Maegok and Daeshil Neighborhood Parks showed strengths in the facility element, but in terms of ecological education environment, Dasa and Maegok Neighborhood Parks were excellent. There were some historical and cultural elements included in Daeshil Neighborhood Park, but regional history-culture elements were not reflected well enough. When the contents of ecological education were analyzed, it was found that it was possible to carry out various science book activities in Dasa Neighborhood Park, and since Maegok Neighborhood Park was given better access to Maegok Elementary School, it showed high possibility of connecting to the school curriculum. On the contrary, as Daeshil Neighborhood Park lacked natural elements, this study found it necessary to improve its functions of ecological education.

본 연구는 대구광역시 달성군 다사 지역 초등학교와 인근 근린공원의 접근성을 고려한 경계부 특성, 장소성과 생태교육적 특성을 분석하였다. 경계부 잠재력 분 석 결과, 다사초등학교와 다사근린공원, 대실초등학교와 대실근린공원은 단절적 경계를, 매곡초등학교와 매곡근린공원은 연결적 경계를 보였다. 그러나 교섭의 경 계부 특징을 보이지 않은 만큼 향후 담장 허물기 교육정책을 통하여 공원과 접근성을 강화할 필요가 있다. 경계부 요소 측면에서는 다사근린공원이 물리적·시각적 경계가 뚜렷하였고, 매곡근린공원은 인공적 경계와 접근을 위한 시각적 마감이 특징적이었다. 대실근린공원은 도로와 마감재를 통해 인공적 경계를 형성하였다. 장소성 형성 요소 분석에서는 매곡 및 대실근린공원이 시설적 요소에서 강점을 보였으나, 생태교육적 환경은 다사 및 매곡근린공원이 우수하였다. 역사문화적 요 소는 대실근린공원에 일부 포함되었으나, 지역 역사·문화의 반영이 미흡하였다. 생태교육적 내용 분석 결과, 다사근린공원은 다양한 과학교과 활동이 가능하며, 매 곡근린공원은 매곡초등학교에서 접근성이 우수한 만큼 학교 교육과정과의 연계 가능성이 높았다. 대실근린공원은 자연적 요소가 부족하여 생태교육적 기능 강화 를 위한 개선이 필요하였다.
