he background behind the university's lifelong education system support project is to prepare for the continued increase in demand for education for adult learners' job transition education and re-employment education with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the extension of average life expectancy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basic plan (draft) for the university's lifelong education system support project from 2019 to 2023 and suggest ways to successfully implement the university's lifelong education system support project. The conclusion is as follows: The main achievements of LiFE 1.0 are, first, the introduction of various academic management models to strengthen the capabilities of adult learners, and second, the establishment of a foundation for coexistence between the community and universities and colleges. Third, it led to structural improvements to strengthen the lifelong education function of universities. However, as areas for improvement along with past achievements, first, it is necessary to expand the flexibility of academic operations and curriculum and strengthen the external cooperation system. Second, it is necessary to spread innovation throughout the university beyond business group-centered innovation. To address these issues, LiFE 2.0 presented major tasks. First, in order to establish a lifelong education operating system within the university, ① establish a dedicated organization for adult learners, ② establish a general management system within the school. Second, in order to expand the adult-friendly curriculum and academic administration, ① develop a field-oriented curriculum, ② provide flexible undergraduate admissions operations. In future research, we hope to conduct studies related to specific and practical support measures for these goals.

대학의 평생교육 체제 지원 사업의 추진 배경은 이러한 4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래와 평균 수명 연장으로 성인 학습자의 직업 전환교육, 재취업 교육 등에 대한 교육 수요가 지속해 증대되고 있는 것을 대비함이다. 이 연구의 목 적은 대학의 평생 교육체제 지원 사업 기본 계획(안)을 2019년부터 2023년까지 분석하여 대학 평생 교육체제 지원 사업이 성공적으로 실행할 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 결론은 다음과 같다. LiFE 1.0의 주요한 성과는 첫째, 성인 학습 자의 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 학사 운영모델을 도입하였으며, 둘째, 지역사회와 대학 및 대학 간 상생할 수 있는 토 대를 마련하였다. 셋째, 대학의 평생교육 기능 강화를 위한 체질 개선을 유도한 점이다. 그러나 그간의 성과와 함께 개선해야 할 사항으로 첫째, 학사 운영 및 교육과정 유연성 확대 및 대외 협력체계 강화 필요하며, 둘째, 사업단 중심 의 혁신을 넘어 대학 전반에 확산이 필요하다. 이러한 점을 개선하기 위해서 LiFE 2.0은 주요 추진 과제를 제시하였 다. 첫째, 대학 내 평생교육 운영체제를 구축하기 위하여 ①성인 학습자 전담 기구 마련 ②학내 총괄 관리 체제를 구 축하고, 둘째, 성인 친화적 교육과정과 학사 운영확산을 위하여 ①현장 중심의 교육과정 개발, ②유연한 입학 학사 운 영을 제시하였다. 추후 연구에서는 이들을 위한 구체적이고 실질적인 지원 방안과 관련된 연구가 있기를 기대한다.
