The purpose of this study is to develop a traditional culture art education program that integrates Cheoyongmu and content to activate elementary school students' expression activity classes, and to examine the learning effects by applying it to actual classes. The study was conducted 10 times in total from September to November 2024, and the participants were 1 teacher, 1 Cheoyongmu expert instructor, 1 fellow teacher, and 4 elementary school students. Data collection was done through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and various document materials, and data analysis was done using the inductive content analysis method. The results of the study are as follows: First, classes utilizing Cheoyongmu and various content increased students' learning understanding and interest, and promoted self-expression and creative thinking, thereby bringing about positive changes in their perception of traditional culture art education. Second, the integration of traditional culture and modern content contributed to promoting voluntary learning participation through classes tailored to students' levels and strengthening cooperation and communication skills. Third, it enables teachers to design efficient and creative classes, thereby reducing the burden of class progress and enabling systematic education. Therefore, in order to effectively apply traditional culture and arts education in the elementary school curriculum, various teaching and learning materials and national support tailored to the learners' level are needed. In addition, teachers need to cultivate specialized knowledge so that they can effectively teach classes that combine traditional culture and modern content.

본 연구는 초등학생의 표현 활동 수업 활성화를 위해 처용무와 콘텐츠를 융합한 전통문화 예술교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 이를 실제 수업에 적용하여 학습 효과를 검토하는 데에 목적이 있다. 연구는 2024년 9월부터 11월 까지 총 10회에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 연구 참여자는 교사 1명, 처용무 전문 강사 1명, 동료 교사 1명, 초등학생 4명으로 구성되었다. 자료 수집은 참여관찰, 심층 면담, 각종 문서자료를 통해 이루어졌고, 자료 분석은 귀납적 내용 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 처용무와 다양한 콘텐츠를 활용한 수업은 학생들의 학습 이 해와 흥미를 높이고, 자기 표현력과 창의적 사고를 증진함으로써 전통문화 예술교육에 대한 긍정적인 인식 변 화를 가져왔다. 둘째, 전통문화와 현대적 콘텐츠의 융합은 학생들의 수준에 맞춘 수업을 통해 자발적 학습 참여 를 촉진하고, 협력과 소통 능력을 강화하는 데 기여하였다. 셋째, 교사들에게는 효율적이고 창의적인 수업 설계 를 가능하게 하여 수업 진행의 부담을 덜고 체계적인 교육을 가능하게 하였다. 따라서 초등 교육과정에서 전통 문화 예술교육을 효과적으로 적용하기 위해서는 학습자의 수준에 맞춘 다양한 교수･학습 자료와 국가적 지원이 필요하다. 또한 교사들은 전통문화와 콘텐츠를 융합한 수업을 효과적으로 지도하기 위해 전문 지식을 함양할 필요가 있다.
