This study’s aim was to investigate educational needs of metaverse-based nursing education among nursing students for development of a women health nursing simulation education program using metaverse. A survey was conducted 124 nursing students with self-report questionnaire in G city from October 30, 2022 to December 30, 2022. Data analysis consisted of t-tests, and Pearson's correlations conducted using SPSS WIN 24.0. The mean scores on metaverse literacy, awareness of metaverse were 65.83±7.28, 4.47±0.54, respectively. The mean score women's nursing education needs using metaverse was 4.18±0.11. Concerning the educational needs of the subjects, the need for normal deliverly education 4.67±0.71 was the highest, followed by the need for preterm labor education 4.44±0.85, postpartum bleeding education 3.83±0.96, and induction of labor education 3.81±1.01. Significant relationships were found between metaverse literacy and the educational needs of metaverse literacy(r=.16, p<.035). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a metaverse-based women health simulation nursing educational program that reflects the educational needs of nursing students.

본 연구는 간호대학생 대상의 메타버스 기반 여성 간호 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발을 위해 교육요구도를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. G시에 소재한 대학교 간호대학생 124명을 대상으로 2022년 10월 30일부터 12월 30일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS/WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 대상자의 일반적 특징, t-test, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 간호대학생의 메타버스 리터러시는 65.83±7.28점, 메 타버스에 대한 경험 인식은 4.47±0.54점으로 나타났다. 메타버스를 적용한 간호 교육요구도 평균 평점은 4.18±0.11점, 정상분만 간호 교육요구가 4.67±0.71점으로 가장 높았고 조기진통임신 4.44±0.85점, 산후출혈 3.83±0.96점, 유도분만 3.81±1.01점으로 나타났다. 메타버스 리터러시는 메타버스를 적용한 간호 교육요구도 (r=.16, p<.035)와 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 교육요구도를 반영한 메타 버스 기반 여성 간호 시뮬레이션 교육프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.
