AI digital textbooks are receiving attention as a key tool to support the digital transformation of current education, although there are various opinions on their feasibility and effectiveness. In this study, the functions of coding education AI courseware and informaticn AI digital textbook prototypes were analyzed based on the adaptive learning platform function frame. In addition, the main functions of AI digital textbooks suitable for the characteristics of elementary informaticn education in the 2022 revised curriculum were proposed, including the function to specifically diagnose the current level of learners, the assessment recommendation function tailored to the learning level and progress of each student, the learning design function that allows learners to become the main actors of learning and build a learning path, the learning crisis alerts function that allows teachers to intervene in a timely manner, the network function between students including various collaboration tools, and the motivation function using various contents and devices. We expect that the functional supplementation proposed in this study will systematically implement the achievement standards of information education and enable adaptive learning, thereby enabling AI digital textbooks to effectively carry out information education.

AI 디지털교과서는 그 시행 가능성과 실효성에 있어 다양한 의견이 존재하지만 현재 교육의 디지털 전환을 지원하는 핵심 도구로 주목받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 코딩교육 AI 코스웨어와 정보 AI 디지털교과서 프로토타입의 기능을 맞춤형 학습 플랫폼 기능 프레임에 기반해 분석하였다. 그리고 2022개정 교육과정의 초등 정보교육 특성에 적합한 AI 디지털교과 서의 주요 기능들로 학습자의 현재 수준을 구체적으로 진단하는 기능, 학생 개개인의 학습 수준과 진도에 맞춘 평가 추천 기능, 학습자 스스로 학습의 주체가 되어 학습 경로를 구축할 수 있는 학습 설계 기능, 교사가 적시에 개입할 수 있도록 하는 학습 위기 경고 기능, 다양한 협업 도구를 포함한 학생 간 네트워크 기능, 다양한 콘텐츠와 장치를 사용한 동기 부여 기능을 제안하였다. 본 연구가 제안하는 기능적 보완을 통해 정보교육의 성취기준을 체계적으로 구현하고, 맞춤형 학습을 가능하게 함으로써 AI 디지털교과서가 정보교육을 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 방안이 되길 기대한다.
