Much of the Bible is written in narrative form. A narrative is a description of a real or fictional event. Preachers must study not only the narrative itself but also the various methods of describing the event. Narrative elements include plot, characters, background, events, and perspectives, through which the story unfolds. Among these, perspective refers to where the narrator's perspective is. If the narrator is inside the story, it is called the first-person perspective, and if the narrator is outside the story, it is called the third-person perspective. Each perspective has its own advantages and disadvantages. The third-person perspective has the advantage of being able to write a story logically and providing readers with sufficient explanations of all situations. However, the third-person perspective creates a sense of distance from the reader because the narrator takes the lead in explaining. Also, the reader has limitations in experiencing the story sensorily due to the narrator's leading explanation. The first-person perspective provides readers with a sense of presence in the story. For this reason, the reader can experience the content of the event sensorily. It also provides the effect of allowing readers to directly experience the events of the story within the story, not outside the story. However, since the story unfolds within the experience of one character, it is difficult to explain broadly. Perspective is not fixed in the story. Rather, the speaker can change the perspective by using the strengths of each perspective within the story. Since the change in perspective used by the speaker is a method of utilizing the strengths of each perspective, the audience can receive the story of the narrative vividly. This study introduces the strengths and weaknesses of perspectives existing in the Bible narrative and reveals that the strengths of each perspective can be used in sermons. In addition, it will reveal that there is a positive effect in delivering sermons when using a change in perspective. And it will suggest tools that can be used for perspective change.

성경의 많은 부분이 내러티브로 되어 있다. 내러티브는 실재 일어난 일이나 허구적 사건에 대 한 기술이다. 설교자는 내러티브 그 자체를 연구하는 것뿐 아니라 그 사건을 기술하는 다양한 방 법을 연구해야 한다. 내러티브 요소는 플롯, 인물, 배경, 사건, 관점 등이 있는데, 이것들을 통하 여 이야기가 전개된다. 그 중 관점은 내러티브를 서술하는 화자의 시선이 어디에 있는지를 말하 는 것으로써, 이야기 안에 서술자가 있으면 1인칭 관점, 이야기 밖에 서술자가 있으면 3인칭 관 점이라고 한다. 각 관점은 각자의 장단점이 존재한다. 3인칭은 논리적으로 이야기를 작성할 수 있고, 독자에게 모든 상황설명에 대한 충분한 설명을 제공할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 3인칭 관점은 화자 가 주도적으로 설명하기에 독자와의 거리감이 생긴다. 또한 화자의 주도적인 설명으로 인해 독자 는 이야기를 감각적으로 경험하는데 한계가 있다. 1인칭은 독자들에게 스토리의 현장감을 직접적으로 제공할 수 있다. 이런 이유로 인해 독자는 사건의 내용을 감각적으로 체험할 수 있게 된다. 또한 독자들이 스토리 바깥이 아닌 스토리 안에 서 이야기의 사건을 직접적으로 경험하게 해 주는 효과를 제공한다. 그러나 등장인물 한 사람이 체험한 경험 안에서 이야기가 전개되기 때문에, 폭넓은 설명이 어렵다. 관점은 이야기 속에서 고정적인 것은 아니다. 오히려 화자는 이야기 안에서 각 관점이 가지고 있는 장점을 사용하여 관점에 변화를 줄 수 있다. 화자가 사용하는 관점의 변화는 각 관점이 가 지고 있는 장점을 이용하는 방법이기에 청중들은 내러티브의 스토리를 생동감있게 전달받을 수 있다. 본 연구는 성경 내러티브안에 존재하는 관점들의 장단점을 소개하고, 각 관점이 가지고 있 는 장점을 설교에서 사용할 수 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 더불어 관점변화를 사용했을 때의 설교 전 달에 있어서 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 밝힐 것이다. 그리고 관점변화를 위해 사용할 수 있는 도구들을 제시하고자 한다.
