The purpose of this study is to design and develop a music-based drama play program to improve peer relationships among students in an inclusive classroom. To achieve this, prior research on peer relationship improvement was reviewed, and the developmental characteristics of lower elementary school students and the characteristics of children with disabilities were studied to develop the music-based theater play program. The program is structured into four stages, referencing the 'Play-Based Expression Teaching and Learning Model' from the integrated curriculum, and consists of a total of 10 sessions. Each session includes relaxation and discussion activities, structured activities, and reflection-sharing activities. To ensure the validity of the study, the program was reviewed by experts in educational theater and music intervention. Additionally, feedback was gathered from students of the same grade after a preliminary application of similar activities to those used in the program, and the difficulty level was adjusted accordingly. his study integrates two disciplines, music activities and theater play, capitalizing on the strengths of both while complementing their limitations. The results of applying the program to second-grade students in an inclusive classroom confirmed improvements in peer relationships. For future studies involving theater play, it is suggested to incorporate and utilize a variety of complementary elements such as music or art.

본 연구는 음악 기반 연극놀이 프로그램을 설계하고 개발하여 통합학급 학생들의 또래관계 개선에 활용 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 또래관계를 개선에 대한 선행연구들을 고찰하였으며 초등학교 저학 년의 발달특성 및 장애아동의 특성을 연구하여 음악활용 연극놀이 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램의 단계는 통합교과의 ‘표현 놀이 중심 교수·학습 모형’을 참고하여 4단계로 구성하였으며, 전 체 회기는 10회기로 구성하였다. 각 회기는 이완 및 토론 활동, 구조화된 활동, 소감 나눔 활동으로 구성 되어 있다. 본 연구의 타당성을 위해 교육연극 전문가와 음악중재 전문가에게 프로그램 검토를 받았다. 또한 본 프 로그램에 사용된 놀이와 비슷한 놀이들을 동학년 학생들에게 사전 적용 후 얻은 피드백을 반영해 난이 도를 조정하였다. 본 연구에서 적용한 프로그램은 음악활동과 연극놀이라는 두 제재를 융합한 것으로, 두 제재가 가지는 장점은 살리고 한계점은 상호보완할 수 있도록 하였다. 프로그램 적용 결과 초등학교 2학년 통합학급 학 생들에게 적용한 결과 또래관계가 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 연극놀이를 활용한 후속 연구에서 는 음악이나 미술 등과 같은 다양한 보완재를 융합하여 활용할 것을 제언하였다.
