In contemporary society, where knowledge is rapidly increasing, problem-solving competency is essential for understanding and critically exploring information across various areas. To develop this competency, it is crucial to provide suitable problems and questions. The recently revised curriculum highlights the importance of proposing appropriate questions and suggestions tailored to the problem-solving process and its stages. This study examined problem types and questions in line with problem-solving steps outlined in government-issued and certified mathematics textbooks following the 2015 curriculum update. The analysis revealed that government-issued textbooks included more problems with multiple solution paths or answers compared to government-certified textbooks. Regarding questions and recommendations based on problem-solving stages, variations were observed in the intensity and types of questions presented at each stage, depending on the textbook. By applying the problem and question types identified in this study, it is anticipated that structuring and incorporating them will enhance the effectiveness of problem-solving classes and aid in the creation of new textbooks.

지식의 양이 급격히 증가하고 있는 현대사회에서 문제해결 역량은 다양한 지식과 정보를 이해하고 탐구하여 문제를 해결할 수 있게 하는 필수적인 역량이다. 문제해 결 역량을 기르기 위해서는 문제해결 과정을 경험할 수 있도록 적절한 문제와 각 단계에 따른 발문 및 권고를 제시해야 한다. 최근 개정된 교육과정 역시 문제해결 지도 시 제시되는 문제와 문제해결 단계에 따른 적절한 발문 및 권고를 강조하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 2015 개정 수학 국정 및 검정 교과서 4종의 문제해결 차시에 제시된 문제 유형과 문제해결 단계에 따른 발문 및 권고를 분석하였다. 분 석 결과, 검정 교과서보다 국정 교과서에서 다양한 방법으로 해결이 가능하거나 여 러 가지 해답이 나올 수 있는 문제를 더 많이 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 문제해결 단계별로 살펴보면, 발문 및 권고를 집중적으로 제시한 단계가 교과서마다 달랐으 며, 각 단계별로 제시된 발문 및 권고 유형에도 차이를 보였다. 분석 결과에 따른 문제 유형별 예시와 각 단계별 발문 및 권고 유형이 효과적인 문제해결 수업과 새 로운 교과서 개발에 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
