This study aimed to select educational mind metaphorical expressions using a corpus approach and to examine the presentation in the textbook. Laufer and Nation (2012) proposed three criteria for selecting educational vocabulary: frequency, usefulness, and learnability. 39 educational mind metaphorical expressions were selected by using the t-score as a criterion for determining frequency and usefulness, and whether or not the air words of metaphor expression were registered in Korean Education Vocabulary Content Development as a criterion for determining learnability. Subsequently, the network relationship between 'mind' and Co-occurrence words was visualized using a gephi program for the selected expressions, and it was confirmed that most of Co-occurrence words are basic vocabulary learned in beginner and intermediate levels based on the basic vocabulary classification. As a result of analyzing the presentation of mind metaphorical expression in the textbook, it was confirmed that several mind metaphorical expressions were presented intensively in the textbook, and the presented expressions were not sufficiently repeated with a frequency corresponding to the t score.

본 연구는 말뭉치 접근법을 활용하여 교육용 마음 은유표현을 선정하고, 마음 은유표현이 교재 말뭉치에서 제시된 양상을 살펴보았다. Laufer & Nation(2012)에서는 빈도, 유용성, 학습 가능성이라는 세 가지 기준을 교육용 어휘 선정의 기준으로 제안하였다. 이를 근거 삼아 t 점수를 빈도와 유용성 판정 기준으로, 『한국어 교육 어휘 내용 개발』에서 ‘마음 은유표현 공기어’ 등재 여부를 학습 가능성 판정 기준으로 활용하였다. 그 결과 교육용 마음 은유표현 39개를 선정하게 되었다. 이어서 선정된 표현을 대상으로 gephi 프로그램을 이용하여 ‘마음’ 과 공기어의 네트워크 관계를 시각화하였으며, 기초 어휘 등급 구분을 근거하여 비교하였을 때 이들 공기어가 대부분 초급과 중급에서 배우는 기초 어휘임이 확인되었다. 교재 말뭉치에 서의 마음 은유표현 제시 양상을 분석한 결과, 교재에서는 몇 개에 한정된 마음 은유표현을 집중적으로 제시하고 있었다. 또한 제시된 표현들이 t 점수에 상응하는 빈도로 충분히 반복 제시되지 못하였음을 확인하였다.
