This study attempted to make a meaningful proposal by investigating middle school teachers' perceptions of education using artificial intelligence in order to activate artificial intelligence education in middle schools. Accordingly, after conducting a questionnaire survey on current teachers working at middle schools located in Gyeonggi-do, a statistical analysis was conducted using the response data of 208 people. Middle school teachers were positive for education using artificial intelligence, but they perceived that they lacked expertise. It was recognized that the artificial intelligence education platform would help in each stage of class, but the expectation for help in the evaluation stage was low. Even if artificial intelligence was used in class, it was recognized that teachers had the initiative in class, and that artificial intelligence would be used as an auxiliary means. Based on the analysis results, it was found that it was necessary to provide practical training for improving the professionalism of middle school teachers and to develop and disseminate appropriate technologies that reflect the needs of the school field.

이 연구는 중학교에서 인공지능 교육을 활성화하기 위하여 중학교 교사의 인공지능 활용 교육에 대한 인식을 조사하여 의미 있 는 제안을 하고자 하였다. 이에 경기도 소재 중학교에 근무하는 현직 교사를 대상으로 설문을 시행한 후, 208명의 응답 자료를 활용 하여 통계 분석을 시행하였다. 중학교 교사는 인공지능을 활용한 교육에 긍정적이나, 전문성은 부족한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 인 공지능 교육 플랫폼이 수업의 단계별로 도움이 될 것으로 인식하고 있었으나, 평가 단계에서의 도움에 대한 기대는 낮았다. 인공지 능이 수업에 활용되더라도 수업의 주도권은 교사에게 있으며, 인공지능은 보조수단으로 활용될 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 분석 결과 를 토대로 중학교 교사의 전문성 향상을 위한 실질적인 연수 제공과 학교 현장의 요구를 반영한 적절한 기술의 개발과 보급이 필요 함을 알 수 있었다.
