This study explored the difficulties learners feel in subject-convergence artificial intelligence education. After applying the program to 21 fifth-grade elementary school students with 6 topics, 12 learning goals, 16 class contents, and 63 classes, the difficulties felt by learners during subject-convergence artificial intelligence education were derived. The results were as follows. First, difficulties appeared due to the lack of active and spontaneous learners. Second, difficulties appeared due to the lack of awareness of the difference between humans and computers. Third, difficulties appeared due to indifference to the technology behind the tool. Fourth, difficulties appeared due to lack of understanding of the content of the subject. Fifth, difficulties appeared due to lack of data interpretation and utilization ability. Sixth, difficulties appeared due to the lack of simple data for subject-convergence.

본 연구는 교과 융합 인공지능 교육 시 학습자가 느끼는 어려움을 탐구하였다. 프로그램을 초등학교 5학년 학생 21명에게 6개 주제, 12 개 학습 목표, 16개 수업 내용, 63차시의 수업으로 적용한 후, 교과 융합 인공지능 교육 시 학습자가 느끼는 어려움을 도출하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자의 적극성과 자발성 부족으로 인한 어려움이 나타났다. 둘째, 인간과 컴퓨터의 차이에 대한 인식 부족에 의한 어려움이 나타났다. 셋째, 도구 이면의 기술에 대한 무관심에 의한 어려움이 나타났다. 넷째, 교과 내용 이해 부족으로 인한 어려움이 나타났다. 다섯째, 데이터 해석·활용 능력 부족으로 인한 어려움이 나타났다. 여섯째, 교과 융합 간편 자료의 부재로 인한 어려움 이 나타났다.
