‘From cultural and artistic experience to application 1’ is one embodiment of the development research process of <1+3 Curriculum and Teaching/Learning Methods of Integrated Arts Education> (hereinafter referred to as <1+3 Integrated Arts Education>). The purpose of the first stage of the <1+3 Art Integration Education> research, which is conducted in two stages of three years, is to propose educational strategies and practice models that promote communication and integration of each field of culture and arts, such as literature, art, music, and film for the 21st century aesthetic education and cross-border culture and art education, and to propose a new model for artists, art mediators, and art enjoyers by presenting arts and developing a university arts integration education program that responds to the hybridization phenomenon of arts. As the first program, it presented an educational model that integrates each other art genre with one art genre at the center under the theme of the senses. The students actively expressed their thoughts and feelings by integrating different art genres under the theme of sense. Through this education, students learned that there are various perspectives on society, including culture and art, and that there are various media that express those perspectives, and that they can express themselves using those media. But most of all, it is important that students felt pleasure while participating in the class, embodying and sharing their thoughts. This is because those who enjoy culture and arts will become ‘artists’, ‘art mediators’ and ‘art enjoyers’.

‘문화예술 경험에서 응용까지 1’은 <1+3 예술통합교육의 교과과정 및 교수학습법>(이하 <1+3 예술통합교육>) 개발 연구 수행과정 중의 한 형태이다. 3년씩 2단계로 수행되는 <1+3 예술통합교육> 연구의 1단계 목적은 문학, 미술, 음악, 영화 등 문화예술 각 분야의 소통과 통합을 촉진하는 21세기형 미적 교육과 탈경계 문화예술 교육의 전략 및 실천 모델을 제시하고 예술의 혼종화 현상에 대응하는 대학 예술통합교육의 교과과정을 개발하여 새로운 예술가, 예술매개자, 예술 향유자 모델을 제안하는 것이다. 그 첫 교과과정으로서 감각을 주제로 한 가지 예술 장르를 중심에 두고 그 외의 여러 예술 장르를 통합하는 교육 모델을 제시했다. 학생들은 서로 다른 예술 장르들을 감각이란 주제 아래 통합하며 주도적으로 자신의 생각과 감정을 표현했다. 본 교육을 통해 학생들은 문화예술, 더 나아가 사회를 바라보는 다양한 시각이 있다는 것과 그 시각을 표현하는 다양한 매체가 있음을, 그리고 그 매체를 활용하여 자신의 생각 또한 표현할 수 있다는 것도 알게 되었다. 무엇보다 주요한 것은 학생들이 수업에 참여하면서 자신의 생각을 구현하고 공유하는 즐거움을 느꼈다는 점이다. 문화예술을 즐기는 자가 ‘예술가’도 되고 ‘예술 매개자’도 또 ‘예술 향유자’도 될 것이기 때문이다.
