In this article, we looked at what changes have been made to Nongak in Saam-ri, Chuncheon, which has been cited as the origin of Farmers’ dance of China’s Korean ethnic group since it was listed on UNESCO. Saam-ri was an area where Durenongak was actively performed to the extent that there were Nongak bands in each neighborhood, but as the rural environment changed rapidly, the village nongak disappeared. Saam-ri Nongak began to be restored with the aim of promoting the new rural construction movement and participating in the folk art contest, but during the restoration process, the relationship with the Farmers’ dance of China’s Korean ethnic group became known. The fact that the roots of Farmers’ dance of China’s Korean ethnic group, a UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage, were continuously valued by villagers as a major discourse characterizing Saam-ri Nongak, and affected various parts of Saam-ri Nongak, including the establishment of the Saam-ri Nongak Preservation Association, changes in Nongak performance, and restoration of the village community.

이 글에서는 중국 조선족농악무가 유네스코에 등재된 이후 그 원류로 지목 된 춘천 사암리 농악에 어떤 변화가 있었는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 사암리는 각 동네별로 농악단이 있을 정도로 활발하게 두레농악이 연행되었던 지역이 었지만 농촌환경이 급변하면서 마을농악이 사라졌다. 사암리농악은 새농어 촌건설운동 추진과 민속예술경연대회 참여를 목적으로 복원이 시작되었지만 복원과정에서 중국 조선족농악무와의 관계가 알려지면서 새로운 전기를 맞 게된다. 유네스코에 등재된 세계무형문화유산인 중국 조선족농악무의 뿌리 가 사암리농악이라는 사실은 사암리농악을 특징짓는 주요 담론으로 마을 주민들을 중심으로 지속적으로 가치 부여가 이루어졌고, 사암리농악보존회 창립, 농악연행방식의 변화, 마을공동체성 회복 등 사암리농악의 여러 부분 에 영향을 미쳤다.
