The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of elementary school students' participation in the ‘Movement Art Theater’ using the Metaverse platform on their interest and attitude in dance. For the study subjects, 40 elementary school students in the 6th grade in Chungbuk, and the experimental group (21 people) who participated in the ‘Movement Art Theater’ as a metaverse platform and the control group (19 people) who participated in the ‘Movement Art Theater’ as a video during the same period for 40 minutes once a week for a total of 10 weeks, from October 5 to December 7, 2022. For data processing, independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test ANOVA were conducted through SPSS 23, and the statistical significance level was set at p<.05. As a result, there was a significant difference in interest and attitude in dance of the experimental group, and a significant difference in response comparison in the experimental group. Therefore, it is recommended to use the metaverse platform to develop elementary school students' interest and attitude in dance. These results are expected to be used as basic data to seek ways to utilize various media to increase elementary school students' interest and attitude in dance.

이 연구는 초등학생의 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 ‘움직임 예술극장’ 참여가 무용에 대한 흥미 및 태도에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 충북 소 재 초등학교 6학년에 재학 중인 초등학생 40명이며, 메타버스 플랫폼 ‘움직임 예술극 장’에 참여한 실험군(21명)과 동일기간 동영상 ‘움직임 예술극장’에 참여한 대조군(19 명)을 대상으로 주1회 40분씩 총 10주간 2022년 10월 5일부터 12월 7일까지 연구를 진행하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 23을 통해 독립표본 t-test, 대응표본 t-test, ANOVA를 실시하였고, 통계적 유의수준은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 그 결과, 무용에 대 한 흥미 및 태도가 실험군에서 유의한 차이가 있었고, 실험군의 대응 비교에서도 유의 한 차이가 있었다. 이에 이 연구에서는 초등학생의 무용에 대한 흥미 및 태도를 높이 는 데 있어 메타버스 플랫폼 활용을 추천하는 바이다. 이러한 결과는 초등학생의 무용 에 대한 흥미 및 태도를 높이기 위해 다양한 매체 활용 방안을 모색하는 데 기초자료 가 될 것으로 기대한다.
