The three important fields of Christian education are church, home, and school, and the place where teenagers spend their absolute time is a school. In the current situation where the rate of teenagers leaving the church is getting serious, schools should be recognized as a very important place for Christian education, and specific attention should be paid to implementing comprehensive Christian education in schools. A school church must be established to worship, preach the gospel, conduct Bible studies, share fellowship, and practice service in the school where the students are. Instead of just waiting for the youth to return to the church, we need a new direction and strategy to build a church in the school that is a living space of teenagers. Because the church is not a building, but a community of people who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, the church can be fully formed even in schools. With this interest, this paper examined the understanding of church, teenager, and community to find a theoretical basis for whether school church is possible. Next, the direction of school church was set by analyzing the survey results of JI&COM Research, and finally, strategies for effective school church ministry were presented. This paper is meaningful as a starting point for research on school church, and it is judged that it can provide important practice for establishing school church in school.

기독교교육의 세 가지 중요한 장(field)은 바로 교회, 가정, 학교인데, 청소년들이 그들의 절대적인 시간을 보내는 곳은 바로 학교이다. 청소년 들이 교회에서 이탈하는 비율이 심각해지는 현재 상황 속에서 학교를 매우 중요한 기독교교육의 장으로 인식해야 하며, 학교 안에서 종합적인 기독교 교육을 시행하는 데에 구체적인 관심을 가져야 한다. 학생들이 있는 학교 안에서 예배를 드리고, 복음을 전하고, 성경 공부를 진행하고, 교제를 나 누고, 섬김을 실천하는 스쿨 처치(School Church)가 곳곳에 세워져야 한 다. 교회 안으로 청소년들이 돌아올 것을 마냥 기다리는 것이 아니라, 청소 년들의 삶의 공간인 학교에 교회를 세워가는 새로운 방향과 전략이 필요하 다. 교회는 건물이 아니라, 예수 그리스도를 구세주로 믿는 사람들의 공동 체이기에 학교에서도 충분히 교회는 이루어질 수 있다. 이러한 관심을 가 지고 본 논문에서는 스쿨 처치가 가능한지에 대한 이론적 근거를 찾기 위 해 교회에 관한 이해, 청소년에 관한 이해, 공동체에 관한 이해를 살펴보았 다. 다음으로 ㈜지앤컴리서치의 설문조사 결과를 분석하면서 스쿨 처치의 방향을 설정해보았고, 마지막으로는 효과적인 스쿨 처치 사역을 위한 전략 을 제시해보았다. 본 논문은 스쿨 처치에 관한 연구의 시작점으로서 의미 가 있고, 학교 안에 스쿨 처치를 세워가는 데 있어 중요한 실제를 제공해줄 수 있다고 판단된다.
