Social interest in ESG is not limited to management and economics, but is rapidly emerging as a problem for all of us living in a 'multicultural society'. In addition, most of the contents of ESG are often encountered through examples of companies. However, since practicing ESG is not only a matter for the industry, but a matter for humanity, there is a lack of discussion about it despite the need to think about it from a 'multicultural perspective'. In this paper, I proposed a method of using liberal arts education as a method of multicultural liberal arts education in the ESG era. Through Gould's 『Full House』, a science education book, the multicultural governance education method and contents were examined. Through this, we hoped that discussions on opportunities to encounter and exchange various cultures through global citizenship education necessary for learners living in the ESG era will be active.

ESG에 대한 사회적 관심은 경영·경제학에 국한된 문제가 아니라 사회적으로 ‘다문 화 사회’를 사는 우리 모두의 문제로 급부상하고 있다. 또한, 대부분 ESG는 기업 사례 를 통해 자주 접하고 있다. ESG를 실천하는 것은 산업체만의 일이 아니라, 인류 공동의 문제이기 때문에, ‘다문 화적 관점’에서 생각해 볼 필요가 있다. 하지만, 이에 대한 논의가 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 ESG 시대의 다문화 교양교육의 방법으로 과학교양교육을 활용한 방법을 제안해 보았다. 과학교양도서인 굴드의 『풀하우스』를 통해 다문화 거버넌스 교육 방법과 교육내용에 대해서 살펴보았다. 이를 통해서 ESG 시대를 사는 학습자들 에게 필요한 세계 시민성 소양 교육으로서 다양한 문화를 접하고 교류할 교육적 기회 에 대한 논의가 활발해지길 기대한다.
