In this paper, 101 Korean-Chinese schools in Jilin Province, China were analyzed to analyze the operating characteristics of the schools, and then to propose a plan for the development of Korean-Chinese schools. The operational characteristics referred to here refer to the development method formed and maintained in the development process of a school and the operational characteristics of a unique and excellent school recognized by society. The results of analyzing the operation characteristics of Korean ethnic schools in Jilin Province are as follows. From a macroscopic point of view, the operational characteristics of the Korean Chinese School in Jilin Province, China have political characteristics, ethnic characteristics, regional characteristics, and periodic characteristics. From a microscopic point of view, Jilin Provincial Korean Chinese School implements a bilingual education policy and educates students to grow up to be Korean-Chinese with excellent political and work aptitude. Based on this, although Korean-Chinese schools are rapidly declining, the direction of development of surviving Korean-Chinese schools must maintain two characteristics: 'modernity' and 'ethnicity'. It was suggested that the school's internal and external factors should be harmoniously applied.

본 논문은 중국 길림성의 조선족학교 101곳을 대상으로 그 학교의 운영 특색에 대해 분석을 진행한 후 조선족학교의 발전 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 여기서 말 하는 운영 특색이란 한 학교의 발전과정에서 형성되고 유지된 발전 방식과 사회에 서 공인된 독특하고 우수한 학교의 운영 특징을 말한다. 길림성 조선족학교의 운영 특색을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 거시적으로 볼 때 에는 중국 길림성 조선족학교의 운영 특색은 정치적 특징, 민족적 특징, 지역적 특 징, 시대적 특징을 가지고 있었다. 미시적으로 볼 때에는 길림성 조선족학교는 이 중언어교육 정책을 실시하고 있으며, 학생들에게는 정치소질과 업무소질이 뛰어 난 조선족으로 자라도록 교육하고 있었다. 이에 근거하여 비록 조선족학교가 지금 급속하게 감소하고 있는 상황이지만 생존한 조선족학교의 발전 방향은 ‘현대성’과 ‘민족성’이라는 두 가지 특색을 견지해야 한다는 것이다. 동시에 학교의 내부적 요 인과 외부적 요인을 조화롭게 적용해야 한다는 방안을 제안하였다.
