Qipao symbolize a Chinese cultural phenomenon an d it’s also reflect a era’s social features and the spirit of a nationality. The culture of Qipao is not just a sy mbol of traditional Chinese culture, it is also reflect the history of Chinese woman’s fashion changes and the features of Chinese woman’s liberation. My resear ch base on the film of “The Flowers of War” to analyz e the feminine clothing of several female characters in the film to deeply understand the style matching of the Qipao and the evolution of the modern Qipao. For my research methods, firstly, I investigate the theoret ical background of the film and Qipao. Secondly, I an alyze four main parts of six female characters’ clothi ng style which are silhouette form, material of Qipao, accessories of Qipao and print colors. Then, I do the case analysis for each of female character and obtain the features of clothing style and significance. Overa ll, I draw four conclusions from my research. The ma in research results are as follows： Firstly, the design of silhouette form. Secondly, the changes of Qipao co lor and print colors can reflect the person’s characte r. Thirdly, increase the type of Qipao by using the ac cessories. Finally, the innovation of Qipao’ button. In conclusion, my research found that the collision of C hinese and Western cultures generates the Chinese fa shion history in hundred years ago, especially it indicates the culture connotation of Qipao. In my opinion, I hope ne w-modern Qipao can break loose from traditional Qipao design style. Using more current design concept and mor e diversify styles. In this case the Qipao and Qipao cultur e may continue developing in our current world.

치파오는 중국의문화현상으로 한시대의 사회상과 민족정 신을 반영하고있다. 치파오 문화는중국전통의상징일뿐 아 니라 중국 여성의패션변화와 여성 해방의특징이다. 본연구 의목적은중국영화<진링13소녀>를배경으로영화속여성 복인치파오의상을전통치파오와비교분석하여개량치파오 의 현대적 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 방법은 문헌을 통한 이론적 배경을 고찰하여 <진링 13소녀>에 나오는 주요 여성 인물의 복식 중 치파오를 실루엣 형태, 색채와 프린트, 소재, 장식 등의 디자인 구성 요소를 중심으로 분석한다. 주요 여성 인물6명의치파오사례분석을통해중국전통치파오와현대 적으로 개량된 치파오의 변화 요인에 대해 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실루엣 형태의 확장이다. 둘째, 치 파오의 컬러와 프린트의 다변화로 해당 캐릭터를 표현하기에 적절하였다. 셋째, 창의적인 소재 활용을 통해 치파오의 디자 인에 개성화를추구하였다. 넷째, 치파오디자인의 장식디테일 의 혁신적인 표현이다. 본 연구는 치파오 복식을 통해 동서양 의문화적충돌과교감속에서중국의100년전패션의역사와 변화를현대적시각으로 재해석하고분석하는 것에 그의의가 있다. 또한, 본연구를통해전통치파오의장점과현대치파오 의새로운면모가더해진창의적인치파오디자인의변화와발 전을 기대하는 바이다.
