Purpose: The purpose of this study is to check the effect of elementary school students' attention and execution function on literacy to see if attention and execution function can play a role as a tool for improving literacy. Methods: To achieve this purpose, attention, execution function, and literacy were measured for 221 sixth graders of B Elementary School in Sejong City, and descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, average comparison(independent t-test, One-way ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: The main research results were, first, the evaluation results of vocabulary were the lowest among vocabulary, reasoning, and information grasp, which are sub-factors of literacy. Second, there was no difference in attention, execution function, and literacy according to gender, but literacy according to class showed a significant difference. Conclusion: Based on these results, elementary school students' attention and execution functions affect literacy, and if attention and execution functions can be developed, elementary school students' literacy can be improved, so it is necessary to find a plan for this.

[연구목적] 본 연구는 초등학생의 주의력과 실행기능이 문해력에 미치는 영향 을 확인하여 문해력 향상의 도구로써 주의력과 실행기능이 역할을 할 수 있는지 알아보기 위한 연구이다. [연구방법] 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 세종특별자치시 B 초등학교 6학년 221명을 대상으로 주의력, 실행기능, 문해력을 측정하였고, 자료의 처리는 SPSS 28을 활용하였으며, 기술통계, 신뢰도분석, 독립 t 검정, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. [연구결과] 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 문해력 하위 요소인 어휘와 추론, 정보파악 중 어휘의 평가 결과가 가장 낮았다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 주의력, 실행기능, 문해 력의 차이는 없었으나 학급에 따른 문해력은 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 셋째, 주의력과 문해력의 모든 하위 요소들은 상관관계를 보였으나, 실행기능과 문해력 은 일부만이 상관관계를 보였다. 넷째, 주의력은 문해력에 정적 영향을 주는 것 으로 나타났으며, 실행기능의 일부 요인도 문해력에 영향을 주었다. [결론] 이 결과를 바탕으로 볼 때, 초등학생의 주의력과 실행기능은 문해력에 영향을 줌으로, 주의력과 실행기능을 발달시킬 수 있다면 초등학생의 문해력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이므로 이에 대한 방안 모색이 필요하다.
