Computer education is essential and is considered important for the knowledge and information society of the 21st century, so computer education courses are being aligned with the student development process. To this end, in this study, based on the search for the key words of research literature on information security, information ethics, and computer curriculum, research reports and curriculum in foreign countries were collected and analyzed. The reality of education in Korea and the direction to be taken were analyzed. First, as a result of analyzing the computer curriculum in each country, the computer curriculum was run independently based on computer science, information technology and was operated for more than a certain number of hours. In Elementary Practical Art curriculum, only software education was included, and there were insufficient parts to develop knowledge information processing capabilities. Based on the results of this study, this paper presents implications for cultivating knowledge information processing capabilities and preparing for future education in accordance with the information age.

21세기 지식정보 사회를 위한 컴퓨터 교육은 필수이며 각 나라에서 학생 발달 과정에 맞춰 컴퓨터 교육과정을 다루고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 정보보안 및 정보윤리, 컴퓨터 교육과정에 대한 연구 문헌 주제어 탐색을 바탕으로 해외 여러 나라의 교육과정을 수집, 분석하여 우리나라 교육의 현실과 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 정리하 였다. 먼저 각 나라별 컴퓨터 교육과정을 분석한 결과, 컴퓨터 과학, 정보 기술등을 바탕으로 컴퓨터 교과가 독립 되어 일정 시수 이상 운영되고 있으나 우리나라 2015 교육과정에서는 컴퓨터 교육과정이 독립적으로 운영되지 않 고 시수도 적게 제시되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 초등 실과 교과 내용을 보면 소프트웨어 교육만 다루다보니 지식 정보 처리 역량을 기르기에는 미흡한 부분이 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 본 논문에서는 정보화 시대에 걸맞게 지식 정보 처리 역량을 기르고 미래 교육 대비를 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
