The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for educational content and participation method targeting 20-30-year-olds for couple relationship education(CRE) to improve couple partnership. First of all the questionnaires were prepared to consist of a couple of relationship education areas and themes which are based on prior research, and a needs assessment was conducted targeting 254 people in their 20s and 30s. Based on Borich’s needs assessment model, the top priority in CRE was finding a solution for a conflict situation with other people; it also showed the need of understanding personality differences and communicate with each other. According to our analysis of the education needs in three areas, education needs for communication, marriage values, and prenatal education/ pregnancy/ childbirth/ postpartum depression prevention were the highest in each of the three areas. Moreover, the most requested education type of CRE was in regular education such as secondary and higher education (48.8%), the most requested place of education was at school (53.1%), and offline education (46.5%) was the most requested method of delivery. The results of this study can be used as data for developing a model or a program for effective couple relationship education, which reflects the recent rapid social change and the generational characteristics in their 20s and 30s.

본 연구의 목적은 커플 파트너십 향상을 위한 커플관계교육을 위하여 20-30대를 대 상으로 교육내용과 참여방법에 관한 요구분석을 하는 것이다. 선행연구를 통해 커플관 계교육의 영역과 주제를 도출한 후 설문지를 제작하였고, 커플관계교육 요구분석의 실 행을 위해 20-30대 254명을 대상으로 요구조사를 실시하였다. Borich 요구도에서는 커 플관계교육에서 상대방과의 갈등상황에서의 해결 방법을 가장 필요로 하였으며, 성격차 이의 이해와 의사소통의 필요성도 인지하고 있었다. 영역별 교육요구에서는 세 개의 영 역에서 각각 의사소통, 결혼가치관, 태교·임신·출산·산후우울증 예방과 관련한 교육 요 구가 가장 높았다. 또한 교육유형은 중등, 고등 등 정규교육에서의 실시요구(48.8%)가 가장 높았고 교육장소 역시 학교(53.1%)에서 실시하기를 가장 많이 요구하였으며, 진행 방법에 대해서는 오프라인 교육( 46.5%)의 요구가 가장 높았다. 커플관계교육에 관한 요구분석을 한 연구의 결과는 최근의 급격한 사회적 변화와 20-30대의 세대특성 반영 에 따른 효과적인 커플관계교육을 진행하기 위한 모형개발이나 프로그램 개발의 자료 로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
