This study attempts to suggest some convergent paradigms of theological education. Churches have been experiencing the collapse of boundaries of media, technology, and creativity during the pandemic. In due course, the methodologies and skills in pastoral ministries are also changed in order to meet the needs of congregations. Additionally, as society and the pastoral field change, so the theological knowledge and pastors’ attitude need to be changed. And, the role and capabilities of church leaders are also evolving. In order to respond to these changes and needs, it is necessary to analyze the notions and directions of convergence within theological studies and present some convergence models. This study begins by explaining the notion and direction of 'convergence' set by Government. We examine the meaning of convergence and the short history of using the methodology of convergence in theological studies. In doing so, we can ensure that practical theology has been leading this trend of convergence. Then, we present some extraordinary models for theological convergence in the history of Christian theology. Examples are Origen’s catechetical School of Alexandria, the theological methodologies of Peter Abelard, Martin Luther, and Friedrich Schleiermacher. In addition, we present 4 convergence models with specific examples such as salad bowl, bibimbab, coffee blending, and smart platform, which can be applied in theological education.

이 연구는 목회현장의 변화에 따른 신학교육의 융합적 패러다임을 모색하기 위한 시도이다. COVID-19로 인한 판데믹 시대를 거치면서 목회현장에서조차 미디어, 테크 놀로지, 크리에이티브의 경계가 무너지는 환경을 경험하였고, 그에 따라 목회현장에서 필요로 하는 목회기술에서도 패러다임이 바뀌고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 사회가 변화되고 목회현장이 변화됨에 따라 교역자에게 요구되는 신학적 지식과 목회적 태도 및 리더 의 역할과 역량에도 변화가 나타나고 있다. 이러한 변화에 효율적으로 대응하고자 신학 및 기독교 인문학 내의 융합학문의 연구방향을 분석하고 융합 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 본 연구는 국가의 교육정책으로 설정된 ‘융합’의 의미와 융합 에 대한 오해들을 설명하고, 그 가능성이 무엇인지를 고찰하는 것으로 시작하여. 융합 의 의미와 융합에 대한 학문적 연구, 그리고 신학분야의 연구의 경향을 살펴보고 신 학적 융합교육의 의도를 살펴볼 것이다. 그리고 기독교 신학의 역사 안에서 주목할 만한 신학적 융합의 예로 오리게네스가 이끌던 알렉산드리아 교리문답학교의 교육방 법과, 아벨라르의 신학방법론, 루터와 슐라이어마허의 신학방법론을 고찰할 것이다. 오늘날 신학 교육을 위한 융합적 패러다임의 모델로 샐러드볼, 비빔밥, 커피블렌딩, 스마트 플랫폼 등을 제안함으로써 본격적인 신학교육의 융합적 패러다임 모색을 위한 전이해를 삼고자 한다.
