초록

영어

Kant says that transcendental freedom can only be ascribed to our noumenal self which is situated outside of the realm of nature. Still, according to an alternative interpretation, the distinction between the phenomenal self and the noumenal self refers to two different perspectives on one and the same entity. Whereas, Kant’s Lectures on Pedagogy relies on a teleological notion of human nature. In contrast to animals, human beings must realize their natural destiny by themselves. Morality is their destiny. Kant’s theory of freedom and morality appears tho be at odds with basic ideas of educational thought, but these two perspectives are consistent. Kant says that moral laws or maxims are given in reason and every human being has the power to detect them. So the Socratic dialogue makes human beings understand and accept what he necessarily presupposes.
