Growing attention is paid to the importance of organizational preparedness for corporate entrepreneurship(OPCE) and bricolage. This study aims to explore the effect of OPCE on bricolage. It also seeks to investigate the mediating effect of bricolage in the link between OPCE and innovative behavior. Drawing on literature review regarding OPCE and bricolage, hypotheses are constructed and tested using the data collected from 264 middle-level managers in South Korean small and medium-sized enterprises. Results indicate that the OPCE is positively related to bricolage. Bricolage is also found to be positively associated with innovative behavior. More notably, this study finds that bricolage has a full-mediation effect on between OPCE and innovative behavior. These findings imply that resource-constrained SMEs should seek to establish OPCE to help their middle-level managers implement bricolage which can foster innovative behavior. Implications, limitations and suggestions for future studies are discussed.

본 연구는 사내기업가정신을 위한 조직의 준비태세 및 브리콜라주의 중요성에 주목하여, 그 관련성을 실증적으로 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 나아가 OPCE와 혁신행동 간의 관계에서 브 리콜라주의 매개적 역할을 검증한다. OPCE 및 브리콜라주의 문헌 검토를 바탕으로 연구가설을 설정하였으며, 국내 중소기업의 중간관리자를 대상으로 수집된 총 264개의 자료를 가설검증을 위한 실증분석에 활용하였다. 그 결과, OPCE는 브리콜라주에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것 으로 나타났다. 또한 브리콜라주는 혁신행동에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 가지는 것으로 확인되었 다. 또한 브리콜라주는 OPCE와 혁신행동 간 관계에서 완전매개역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 자원제약적인 중소기업에서 중간관리자의 혁신행동을 이끌어내기 위해서는 OPCE의 수준을 높여 브리콜라주를 강화할 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점, 한계점 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언에 대하여 논의한다.
