This article explores Taoism’s happiness problem and ethical educational implications by applying the ‘deconstruction theory’. The great transition has arrived due to excessive human desire, and ethical education should prepare for the "ethics singularity"; the difficulty in maintaining social order with existing value norms and ethical systems. The great transition and ethical singularity come from human desire. The duality of desire is revealed in the paradox of happiness, in which desire itself is endless and over-desire results in unhappiness. In western philosophy, Nietzsche affirmed the desire after Spinoza's discourse of desire. Subsequently, Deleuze and Gatari analyzed the desires of capitalism and opened a new horizon for the discourse of desire. They all inherit the ideology and method of the deconstruction philosophy. Deconstruction theory is a philosophical civilization theory that takes issue with the nature and history of Western civilization based on logos and metaphysics. In Tao, the principle of deconstruction of Taoism, which criticized Confucianism, does not mean Chaos. Laozi suggests a direction of deconstruction with the aim of Muwi(無爲) and Muyok(無欲). Furthermore, Zhuangzi intends to reach happiness through the deconstruction of absolute freedom of mind and indiscrimination based on Yu(遊) and Jemul(齊物). Although the discourse of happiness in Taoism does not provide a complete answer in ethical education based on Western thoughts, it presents important ethical educational implications for adolescents. First, it enhances the education of ‘unspoken education(不言之敎)' in a crisis of competitive social structure and value confusion. Second, based on this, one can respect one's individuality and pursue 'spiritual freedom'. Third, if the situation is inevitable, happiness will be approached by accepting and sublimating Insun(因循) as a means for preservation of life(養生). In the conclusion, as a problem of Taoism's happiness discourse, I presented the problem of individualism or avoidance of reality. As a note point in education, I suggest harmony with the Confucian viewpoints and community happiness.
