This study analyzed the effects of satisfaction of internal and external career activities of general high school students on self-directed learning through career recognition. The analysis results are summarized as follows. First, high school students with high satisfaction of internal and external career activities have relatively high career recognition and self-directed learning. Second, career recognition has been shown to be fully mediated in the relationship between satisfaction of internal and external career activities and self-directed learning. In other words, it was analyzed that the higher satisfaction of internal and external career activities affects the improvement of career recognition, and the improved career recognition also affects the improvement of self-directed learning. Third, it was analyzed that satisfaction of internal career activities had a more positive effect on career recognition improvement than satisfaction of external career activities. Based on the above research results, this article discussed the effects of satisfaction of internal and external career activities of general high school students on self-directed learning through career recognition.

본 연구의 목적은 일반계 고등학생의 교·내외 진로활동 만족도가 진로 인식을 매개로 자기주도학습에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 분석 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교 내·외 진로활동 만족도가 높은 고등학생은 진로 인식 및 자기주도학습이 상대적으로 높은 것 으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로 인식은 교내·외 진로활동 만족도와 자기주도학습 관계에서 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 교내·외 진로활동 만족도가 높을수록 진로 인식 향상에 영향을 미치고, 향상된 진로 인식은 자기주도학습 향상에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 교내 진로활동 만족도가 교외 진로활동 만족도보다 진로 인식 향상에 더 많은 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 일반계 고등학생의 교내·외 진로활동 만족도가 진로 인식을 매개로 자기주도학습에 미치는 영향에 대해 논의하였다.
