The purpose of this study is to explore what multicultural education perspectives are working on the requirements for improving multicultural education sites presented by multicultural school teachers. This study tried to reveal the multicultural education perspective shown by multicultural education-related requirements revealed in interviews with elementary and middle school teachers according to the case study method. To this end, we classify improvement needs according to three analytical perspectives: anabolic, plural and critical. And this study wanted to analyze where each point of view worked and get implications. The researcher identified two things by analyzing teachers' needs for improvement. First, teachers' demand for improvement in language transfer methods was largely based on fairy tale perspectives. Secondly, teachers were showing both fairy tale and pluralistic views. There are two implications for deriving the direction of multicultural education that reflects the changing multicultural society. First, an approach to respecting the unique growth rhythm of each multicultural student is needed. Second, it is necessary to share a vision among multicultural education members so that both multicultural students and ordinary students can achieve civic growth as members of a multicultural society.

연구의 목적은 다문화밀집학교 교원들이 제시한 다문화교육 현장 개선을 바라는요구사항에 어떤 다문화교육 관점이 작동되고 있는지 탐색하는 일이다. 본 연구는 사례연구방법에 따라 초등학교와 중학교 근무교원의 면담사례에 드러난 다문화교육관련요구사항이 보여주는 다문화교육 관점을 드러내고자 했다. 이를 위해 동화적 관점, 다원적 관점, 비판적 관점 등 세 가지 분석관점에 따라 개선 요구들을 분류하여 각 관점이 작동되는 지점을 분석하고 시사점을 얻고자 했다. 본 연구자는 교원들의 개선요구 분석을 통해 다음 두 가지를 확인했다. 첫째, 언어이수방식에 대한 교원들의 개선요구는 대부분 동화적 관점에 기반하고 있었다. 둘째, 교원들은 동화적 관점과 다원적 관점을 모두 보이고 있었다. 변화하는 다문화 사회상을 반영하는 다문화 교육의 방향성 도출을 위한 시사점은 다음 두 가지이다. 첫째, 다문화학생마다의 고유한 성장리듬을 존중하는 접근이 필요하다. 둘째, 다문화학생과 일반학생 모두를 다문화사회의 일원으로 시민적 성장을 이룰수 있도록 다문화교육구성원간의 비전 공유가 필요하다.
