This paper aims to compare the fansubs and official subtitles of K-dramas and examine the differences between them based on translation techniques. On January 21, 2015, the National Radio and Television Administration, which is in charge of media censorship in China, implemented censorship on foreign movies and TV dramas. Since then, Chinese audiences have moved away from the past K-drama watching media, such as online video platforms, to watch the K-dramas through fansubs on unofficial sites or mobile applications. Therefore, fansubs are widely consumed on the Internet. In this period, when it is difficult to import K-dramas due to foreign video censorship policies, a case analysis study on Korean-Chinese translation has not been conducted even though fansubs are widely consumed. So this kind of study is essential. So, the paper takes “Descendants of the Sun”, the last drama that recorded the highest ratings imported after the censorship policy was implemented, as the object of analysis, and Vinay and Darbelnet’s 7 translation procedures are applied to case analysis to compare the translation patterns and analyze the causes and effects of translation in fansubs and official subtitles. The study itself is the first research on Korean-Chinese translation that has not been done so far in comparison of fansubs and official subtitles and is expected to provide a basis for research in related fields and improve the quality of the fansubs.

본 연구는 한국 드라마의 중국어 팬자막과 공식자막을 비교, 분석하며, 번역기법을 기준으 로 한국 드라마의 중국어 팬자막과 공식자막이 어떠한 면에서 어떠한 차이점이 드러나는지를 고찰하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 2015년 1월 21일에 중국 미디어 검열을 담당하는 국가광전총 국에서 외화 영상물 검열 정책을 정식으로 시행한 뒤 중국 시청자들은 인터넷 동영상 플랫폼 과 같은 과거의 한국 드라마 시청 매개체에서 벗어나 비공식 사이트 등에서 팬자막을 통하여 한국 드라마를 접하게 되었다. 이로 인하여 팬자막은 인터넷 상에서 폭넓게 소비되었다. 외화 검열 정책으로 인하여 한국 드라마의 정식 수입이 어려운 현 시국에서 팬자막이 널리 소비되고 있음에도 불구하고 한-중 번역에 대한 사례분석 연구가 이루어지지 않았다는 사실 을 감안하여 팬자막의 기술적 향상을 위한 공식자막과의 비교 분석은 매우 필요한 연구라고 본다. 이에 본 연구는 2015년 1월 21일에 외화 검열 정책이 정식으로 시행된 이후 수입된 최 고 시청률을 기록한 마지막 드라마인 <태양의 후예>를 연구 대상으로 삼고 비네와 다블네 (Vinay,J.P. and J.Darbelnet)가 제시한 7가지 번역 절차를 사례분석에 적용하여 팬자막과 공 식자막의 번역 양상을 살펴보며, 번역 원인과 효과를 분석한다. 팬자막과 공식자막 비교 연구 분야에서 지금까지 이루어지지 않은 한-중 번역에 대한 최초의 연구로 관련 분야 연구의 단 초를 제공하고 팬자막의 기술적 향상을 기대한다.
