The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of character control in the relationship between professional soccer players' retirement anxiety and PEAS. The subjects of this study were set up as a population of registered professional soccer players and surveyed a total of 1,000 professional soccer players by assigning 250 players for each K1, K2, K3 and K4 leagues using the Laminar Collection Method. The final 841 copies were used for data analysis, with the exception of those 159 that lacked consistency in the double missing questions or responses. The survey tools used structured questionnaires used in prior studies, and the collected data were analyzed through the SPSS statistical program, resulting in the following results: First, retirement anxiety of professional football players has been shown to have a partial effect on PEAS. Second, the characteristics of professional soccer players have been shown to be partly controlling in the relationship between retirement anxiety, PEAS. These findings could later be used as a foundation for the management of athletes by field leaders.

이 연구는 프로축구선수의 은퇴불안과 도핑사고방식 및 성향의 관계에서 성격의 조절효과를 검증하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 연구대상자는 등록된 프로축구선수를 모집단으로 설정하고, 유층집락표집법을 이용하여 K1, K2, K3, K4 리그별 250명씩 할당하여 총 1,000명의 프로축구선수를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 이중 누락된 문항이 나 응답의 일관성이 결여된 159부를 제외하고 최종 841부를 자료분석에 사용하였다. 조사도구는 선행연구에서 사용된 구조화된 설문지를 사용하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 통계프로그램을 통해 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 프로축구선수의 은퇴불안은 도핑사고방식 및 성향에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로축구선수의 성격은 은퇴불안과 도핑사고방식 및 성향의 관계에서 부분적으로 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 차후 현장지도자들의 선수관리를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
